My name is Marie O’Neill, I founded Space for the soul in 2018 as a private practice, offering One:one therapy as well as mindfulness-, spiritual- and self development courses and workshops in Edinburgh and online. As a Counsellor and Interfaith Minister I feel that our world is hugely lacking in opportunities for us to become more of our real selves. The focus of most approaches out there seem to be on quick fixes or distractions to help us get on with it, rather than true healing. After nearly 2 decades of working with people I recognise that what we all crave the most is space to connect more deeply with ourselves and that which is meaningful to us, beyond the hamster wheel of everyday life. My life’s work and purpose is to challenge the status quo our capitalist and overly materialistic society and helping people connect with the deeper truth of our humanity through inner healing and development.

We are a recreational gymnastics club established in 1990, and pride ourselves as part of the local community. We cater for both boys and girls from 5 years old, from beginners through to advanced levels, and currently have around 120 members. Gymnasts train in the sports hall at Kirkcaldy High School up to 3 times a week, and those who show potential may also be invited to join the Fife Development Squad. A waiting list is in operation for all new members. All sessions are taken by highly qualified coaches, many of whom have come through the club themselves.

We provide a range of specialised equipment including soldering stations suitable for casting, pickling tanks, wheel and barrel polishers, ultrasonic tank, bubble etching tanks for copper and silver, fly press, ring stretchers, stone setting tools, heavy duty vices, bench drills, hammering stumps, silversmithing hammers, draw bench and plates, metal guillotine, rolling mill, large and small kilns. We have an extensive collection of resource books on techniques and practices to support both our emerging and established makers.
