The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations (Construction) -Compacting qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work in Compacting within the construction industry. You will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements which have been derived from National Occupational Standards for your occupational area. You will be assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with you and help you complete your qualification. This qualification supports the learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. Your puppy training journey can begin before you even bring your puppy home. By ensuring you have the basics covered such as puppy crate training and puppy toilet training, you can start your journey off with your puppy in the best possible way.    Focusing on you and your puppy outside of a group class setting, in a 1-2-1 puppy training session, can be really useful for you and your puppy. We can focus on specific goals you may have, from teaching a puppy a new game such as retrievals or flirt pole, to training for specific situations such good puppy manners when guests come to our house. 1-2-1 puppy training sessions are typically 1 hour. Training can be carried out in your home/ garden or out at an agreed location, such as a local park, if suitable for you and your puppy goals. I am also happy for you to travel to me to train your dog at an agreed location. 1-2-1 puppy training prices: 1 hour = £60, including follow up report. Pre-arrival session= £30 (half hour) (Longer sessions can be arranged by agreement, priced on an individual basis.) This course provides the basic requirements for auditing IFD&FA systems to BS 5839-1 to certification bodies' standards. The course enables certified contractors to conduct objective auditing of their own systems.

Delegates will develop knowledge of the requirements for the design, installation and commissioning of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm systems within domestic properties in compliance with the requirements of BS 5839-6 and other codes of practice.

Learners will be introduced to EAS as part of the fire safety solution for tall residential properties. This CPD course provides learners with an understanding of the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to, design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of EAS.

Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA maintenance module (C01M05) and/or industry experience and apply this to the ‘recommendations for special inspection on the appointment of a new servicing organization’.
