Aimed at those who already speak Spanish but haven't practiced in a while or have lost their confidence in their ability to communicate in Spanish. During this single three-hour session, we will be meeting in the charming streets of Edinburgh, where we'll embark on a leisurely walk (weather permitting) and indulge in some wonderful Spanish tapas. As we stroll and enjoy some food, we'll refresh your Spanish skills, covering all the essential vocabulary and structures you're likely to use during your upcoming holiday. One non-alcoholic drink of your choice is included in the price of the course, however food isn't (but the tapas are worth every penny!). We offer flexible location options – just let us know your preference. You will leave feeling confident, motivated and ready to speak Spanish while abroad. *If you would like to take part in this session with your partner or a friend, you can do so! There is a £20 charge per additional participant, with a maximum of three participants per session including yourself. Based on this colour analysis we can create a capsule wardrobe using your existing pieces and follow your colour chart to purchase matching items in future. A perfect follow-on course for those who have already completed an introductory darkroom printing course, or who have a reasonable level of B&W darkroom printing experience. Please bring B&W negatives (35mm or medium format) that relate to each other in some way (subject matter, tonal range, environment etc.) as we will be making a number of prints that can be read as a series. Please note: This course only covers the printing of images and participants should therefore bring previously processed negatives and if you have one, a printed contact sheet along to the session. All other materials (including a range of papers) will be provided. Class sizes are currently limited to 4 participants to enable social distancing throughout the course. General Guidance Notes for Pregnant and Breast Feeding Women and Asthmatics: From a risk assessment standpoint, provided all necessary control measures (such as good working practices, adequate ventilation, and the use of appropriate PPE) are in place then pregnant and breastfeeding women should be able to continue to work safely with photochemical products.Inhalation is the main route by which fumes and gases enter the body, making good ventilation a high priority. Exposure to irritant chemicals that would not affect most people may provoke an asthma attack in a person who already has asthma. For example, low levels of the gas sulphur dioxide can be produced by some ILFORD PHOTO processes. Most individuals would be unaffected but asthmatics may suffer adverse affects. ILFORD PHOTO products include no known human carcinogens, and no substances to which phrase R46 (May cause heritable genetic damage) or R64 (May cause harm to breastfed babies) applies. Most ILFORD PHOTO developers use hydroquinone, and their classification therefore includes R40 (Limited evidence of a carcinogenic effect) and R68 (Possible risk of irreversible effects). Some ILFORD PHOTO chemicals use boric acid or borates. These substances are classified as toxic for reproduction. As a result, the classification of some of the powder developers includes R60 (May impair fertility) and R61 (May cause harm to the unborn child).

These one-to-one brand design surgeries are perfect for creatives who want to start making money from selling what they make, or for existing entrepreneurs and small creative businesses who want to review their current branding. In this 1.5 hour, one-to-one brand design surgery you will discuss: your business idea; a brief to create your brand identity; and how you will apply your brand to ensure you have a recognisable 'look' across all your digital and printed products and marketing materials - everything from packaging to social media, and business cards to aprons. Jenny will follow up your session with notes from the conversation, and practical suggestions on how to design your brand, and apply it to various marketing materials. Appointments are available throughout the day and evening starting from 9.30am. On full day workshops you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat inside or out; or there are a wide range of independent sit-in or takeaway delis, cafés, and restaurants, plus supermarkets, within a 5-10 minute walk. PLEASE NOTE: Our workshop space is on the first-floor of a Georgian mews building and unfortunately we do not have lift access. The workshop space is in our home which is not nut free.
