The QA Level 2 Award in Principles and Practice of Moving People Safely (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves assisting and moving people.  This 1 day course provides candidates with a clear understanding of the principles of moving people safely and includes the opportunity to practise and apply these principles in a variety of situations; individually, in a team, and with the assistance of equipment.  Candidates will leave the course with the knowledge and skills required to move people safely whilst ensuring that the risk of personal harm is reduced and that health and dignity are retained.

The QA Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Oxygen (RQF) qualification has been designed for those who are responsible for providing care to casualties where the administration of emergency oxygen may be required.  Over a half day period, candidates will learn about the clinical need for emergency oxygen and the safety considerations of this, as well as how to administer emergency oxygen when dealing with a range of conditions. Successful candidates will leave the course with the knowledge and skills needed to administer emergency oxygen both safely and effectively.  Achievement of this qualification confirms candidates have met both the theoretical and practical requirements, however, it does not imply a ‘license to practice’ – the scope of practice is determined by the organisation responsible for oxygen provision. This qualification does not allow candidates to obtain, store or administer oxygen without clinical governance.

This course is an infant, adolescent, and adult-certified course. First Aid/CPR/AED/Bleeding Control course certified. This is a group course designed for business staff training, churches, sporting venues, anywhere where CPR/First Aid/AED/Bleeding Control is required.

Our workshop packages are perfect for groups looking for an alternative activity to take part in as part of a corporate event, team building exercise, stag or hen do, birthday party, Christmas party or any other occasion you’d like to embellish with a unique creative spin.  Below is a list of ‘off the shelf’ workshops and packages we currently offer however each of these can be customised to suit your needs. So if you like the look of tie due but also want to give t-shirt printing a go drop us an email and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Similarly if you’d like any of these experiences to come to you please get in touch as a selection of our equipment is portable. Booking a workshop as a group would give you a discount price as well. If you are more than 5 people, you can get it from 50£ per person (regular price 75£) for our usual 6h workshop.
