At the center we hold 10 week courses for Puppy and Adult dogs. The ten week dog training classes progressing to beginner, Intermediate and advanced levels. At the centre we have large indoor and outdoor facilities which include consultation rooms for private lessons. Here we can help you with dog behavioural problems individually. We also provide home visits to help you with your dogs behavioural problems that may exist at home. At Rockwood we train and supply animals for the film and TV Industry, including modelling, advertising, theatre and can provide Britains leading dog display team for outdoor events. Many of the dogs that we supply have come through our dog training centre. Some of the dogs work their way through our courses and go on to join the Rockwood Dog Display Team. The Team are ranked the UKs leading dog demonstration team and have performed all over the UK including Royal Events, Military Shows and Crufts. The Rockwood Dog Display Team have also work on corporate events and have had countless TV appearances. They impress the audience with their skills of Obedience, Agility, Man Work and tricks, all beautifully performed to music. It is particularly important with the nature of our work that all the dogs look in tip top condition. At our Grooming parlour in Llanbradach, Ellen Winfield insures that all the film dog are looking their best. Ellen is a City and guild qualified groomer and offers dog grooming and cat grooming for all breeds of dogs and cats at her salon. Ellen offers a high quality service, checking the dogs ears ,eyes and nails. Rockwood Grooming Parlor offers a pick up and delivery service.

I set up my workshop in 1983 after leaving the Royal College of Art. In 1990 I established my studio in Model House Craft and Design Centre in Llantrisant. I work primarily in anodised aluminium producing one off and batch production jewellery. As the material is light and not too expensive I can make large, bold pieces which are both wearable and affordable. Most importantly, by anodising it, I can achieve bright and brilliant colour effects. My passions My three passions are colour, pattern and technique. I love making things and exploring the possibilities of different materials. Although I trained as a jeweller, my work has been heavily influenced by both traditional and contemporary textiles. Over the last twenty years I have also been developing work in felt. I combine this with my jewellery practice to create both functional pieces and work that is purely decorative. My creative ancestry inspires me Much of my recent work has evolved from looking back at my creative ancestry. It was my grandmothers who initiated my fascination with making objects. They passed on their traditional textile skills and started my passion for creating anything from colourful materials. In 2010, I received an Arts Council of Wales grant to help me purchase a laser cutter which enabled me to develop new work. I have used this to explore different materials such as taffeta, acrylic, cardboard and wood. This has opened up many exciting possibilities and I feel I have only just started this journey. I am involved in many craft groups and associations. I am regional co-ordinator and Chair of the International Feltmakers Association. I am a member of the Makers Guild in Wales, of the Association of Contemporary Jewellery and of MaP, a textile group. I have exhibited widely in the UK, Europe, Japan, USA and Canada.

I am a surface designer and have been designing and cutting stencils for almost 30 years - first for printed textiles, then for architectural sandblasted glass and currently for papercuts. I love simple, bold and graphic imagery and am inspired by primitive art, Scandinavian textiles, my Welsh heritage and the beautiful Gower landscape where I live, all mixed up with a love of illustration and design. Although I gained recognition for my distinctive architectural glass, undertaking large scale commissions for public and private spaces and meeting the Queen with my work, it is the hands on, simple and traditional technique of paper cutting which I currently find most gratifying. With just a scalpel, paper and cutting mat I create contemporary and humorous images which are designed to make you smile. My products sell across the world and in addition to winning an award at the prestigious Made by Hand exhibition I have been featured in the press. Everything on this site is designed or made by me and I source my products as locally as I possibly can, and always within the UK. I exhibit widely in galleries in the UK and attend many artist events in person as well as running paper cutting workshops from my studio. The Romani Cultural Arts Company. is the leading Romani and Traveller community-based organisation in Wales, traditionally using the arts and culture as a vehicle for advocacy and empowerment, amongst the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities. RCAC is also supporting individuals to become “Community Champions”, as actors and agents of change in their own communities, making a difference for themselves and the wider society. RCAC is managed by a Board (voluntary management committee) made up of representatives from the GRT communities, meaning that community members have a role as decision-makers and are part of the process of shaping the advocacy and rights agenda that RCAC promotes. The Company believes it is essential that the GRT communities be at the forefront of social progress and positive developments in social inclusion, in the struggle or the recognition of GRT rights and promoting inter-cultural understanding. Within Wales and increasingly across the UK, our advice and expertise is sought by local governments, policy-makers, decision-takers and local or national institutions. We are asked to evaluate the effectiveness of their policies and strategies or to support them in consultation to ensure the voice of the GRT communities they serve, is heard. The London Suzuki Group ( LSG ) was founded in 1972 and was the first group in the United Kingdom to teach music by the Suzuki Method. With 60 qualified teachers and over 600 children currently receiving tuition, the LSG runs individual and group classes, orchestral and chamber music courses, workshops and an annual residential summer course at Bryanston School in Dorset. The group offers instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, recorder and voice. Public and private concerts are regularly organised at venues throughout London and elsewhere, providing much more than the opportunity to learn an instrument. Children and parents form lasting friendships. Parents and teachers are able to share experience and ideas. Music, and the love of music, becomes a natural part of the life of the whole family. Talent is not a prerequisite The Suzuki approach stimulates and develops musical abilities inherent in all children.
