She’s currently freelancing and is in direct contact with many of the big publishing houses: Hachette, Bonnier Books, and book packager, Working Partners Ltd, among others. She also works with the Caroline Wakeman Literary Agency, assessing their authors’ work for commercial viability, as well as scouting for new talent. For twelve years, Lil was a Senior Commissioning Editor at Working Partners Ltd – the creatives behind massive commercial hits such as Beast Quest, Warriors and the Daisy Meadows series. There she created globally successful concepts for every age group and developed storylines so the books were unputdownable. Lil is also an author in her own right: she has written 6 books under her own name, and ghost written many others under various pseudonyms. In every age level, Lil would like to see originality - particularly in voice. A strong character with depth, venturing on a quest that's never been undertaken before will get her excited. The 'quest' doesn't have to be epic in scale, it could be as small as petting the next-door neighbour's dog, or getting the good looking new kid to notice you, it just has to be something a reader will want to invest in. She also loves humour and is happy to see anything quirky (perhaps even downright silly!). For picture books, Lil would like you to submit a covering letter, and 1 complete manuscript, double-spaced, with spreads marked out, in a single word or PDF doc. For chapter books, MG and YA, please send a covering letter, the first three chapters and a synopsis, double spaced, in a single Word or PDF doc. Change Management Foundation: In-House Training: In-House Training This course provides practical knowledge on Change Management techniques and the Foundation certification. You will examine various Change Management techniques and explore which could be effectively implemented in your organization. The structured approach helps you understand how you deal with change as an individual, as a member of a team or organization, and as a leader. The program design explores the impact that change has on these four major areas: Change and the Individual Change and the Organization Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Change Management Practice This course also prepares you for the APMG Change Management Foundation exam. Given that a primary course goal is to achieve the Foundation Certification, the course text will be provided in advance of the workshop so the participant may begin studying. In addition, daily homework assignments and practice exams will be provided. The Foundation-level exam is taken at the end of the third day of the Traditional Classroom course. Focusing on you and your dog outside of a group class setting, in a 1-2-1 dog training session, can be really useful for you and your dog. We can focus on specific goals you may have, from teaching a dog a new game such as retrievals or flirt pole, to training for specific situation such good dog manners when guests come to our house. We can also develop a training plan to help address existing undesirable behaviours your experiencing such as your dog pulling on lead, your dog not performing recall, dog to dog reactivity, dog to person reactivity or even your dog chasing birds or squirrels. 1-2-1 dog training sessions are typically 1 hour or 1.5 hours long, depending on the issue, or number of things you want to look at in a single session. Training can be carried out in your home/ garden or out at an agreed location, such as a local park, if suitable for you and your dog's particular issue. I am also happy for you to travel to me to train your dog at an agreed location. 1-2-1 dog training prices: 1 hour = £60, including follow up report. 1.5 hours= £90, including follow up report. (Longer sessions can be arranged by agreement, priced on an individual basis.) Above prices are based on Dog Training being in and around Bishop's Stortford (IE Sawbridgeworth, Much Hadham, Little Hallingbury, Harlow, Puckeridge, Standon, Manudon), I am happy to travel, subject to agreed travel costs.

She is especially keen to consider playful, funny books for all ages, and is on the lookout for heartwarming, empowering stories, whether in a realistic, contemporary setting, or a wildly imaginative fantasy world - or somewhere in-between. Alice is offering 121 sessions for young fiction, middle grade, YA and picture book writers. For chapter books, MG and YA fiction, please submit a covering letter, synopsis and the first three chapters of your manuscript in a single word document. For picture books, please submit a covering letter and two texts, or for illustrators one dummy and examples from your portfolio or a link to your website.
