Being a Mentor in the Early Years

I offer private sound healing and sound therapy sessions on either a 1:1 or 2:1 (couples/friends) basis. I come to you and provide this service within the comfort of your own home. These sessions can be completely tailored toward your individual needs. Popular subjects I am often asked to concentrate on are stress relief, anxiety, grief, sleep issues, physical or emotional pain and/or discomfort, letting go of burdens that you no longer wish to carry, setting new intentions, re-energizing and recharging or just an ultimate relaxation sound journey session that will leave you feeling beautifully peaceful, calm and relaxed. REFERENCE CODE 603/4460/X COURSE LEVEL NVQ Level 2 THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE IN Course Overview The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Specialist Concrete Occupations (Construction) -Concrete drilling and sawing qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work in Specialist Concrete Occupations. Not all individuals will carry out exactly the same tasks so there are 3 pathways, these allow achievement in Concrete Drilling, Concrete Sawing and Concrete Drilling & Sawing. You will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements which have been derived from National Occupational Standards for your occupational area. You will be assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with you and help you complete your qualification. The qualification consists of 4 mandatory units with a total credit value of 20 credits, in addition to these candidates must achieve the required credits from the chosen pathway.

The qualification is designed to ensure that there is a high degree of flexibility within the units available that will allow employees from companies of all sizes and specialisms equal opportunity to complete. All work completed must be done in accordance with Building Regulations and Industry recognised safe working practices, including the disposal of waste. The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 2, although some units may be at different levels and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments. Candidates for this qualification will primarily be: Working on customer’s premises, removing and installing fascias, soffits and bargeboards Candidates could have jobs entitled: FSB Fitter or FSB Installer

REFERENCE CODE 600/6511/4 COURSE LEVEL NVQ Level 2 THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE IN Course Overview This qualification is aimed at those who are involved in plastering activities in the workplace. It is not expected that candidates working in this industry all do the same activities so the qualification has been developed to allow opportunities for those carrying out work in any one of the following broad categories: solid basic plastering, solid full plastering, basic fibrous plastering and full fibrous plastering. Those taking the qualification must also prove knowledge and competence in working at heights, calculating quantities and wastage and the use of powered and hand tools and equipment. All work completed must be done in accordance with building regulations and industry recognised safe working practices, including the disposal of waste. The qualification is structured to ensure that there is a high degree of flexibility within the units available and will allow employees from companies of all sizes and specialisms equal opportunity to complete. To provide this opportunity in addition to the core skills above, candidates will also be able to select optional units recognising skills including, working with direct bond dry linings, laying sand and cement screeds, installing mechanically fixed plasterboard and carrying out repair work. The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 2, although some units may be at different levels and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments.
