oldbury court out of school clubs
OCOSC was founded in 1989 to provide after school childcare between 3 PM and 6
PM in an area where such facilities were in very short supply but in high
demand. This has since expanded to include mornings and holidays, an a
wrap-around style. In line with parents’ requirements, the organisation is
currently able to provide continuous support to children from age 4 to 14, 52
weeks of the year and a single point for collection and/or dropping-off family
members of different ages and attending different schools. The objectives that
the Club aims to meet through its work include early year education, training
and providing care and counselling to children and young people. We cater for
the educational, emotional, cultural, developmental and physical needs of the
children that attend, in line with Ofsted requirements. Of our 18 staff, 12 have
a recognised childcare qualification, 11 a recognised Playwork qualification and
we aim to help all staff achieve their paediatric first aid certificate. All
staff also have an enhanced DBS check
