SJF has been operating non formal primary education among the communities in the
name and style “ SJF Community School” in Chittagong in a limited scale with the
aim to increase education facilities to the disadvantaged children left behind
from the formal education system. SJF Community Schools provide disadvantaged
children and primary droop out students a second chance at learning to complete
five years primary education in four years. This step has opened the door to
education for thousands of underprivileged children particularly for those, who
are affected with extreme poverty, violence and discrimination in rural and
urban areas.
