The LYF is an enterprising, small charity – but one that achieves big
results.Despite the dreadful challenges for so many of us throughout 2020-21,
this period has marked a very challenging – but a positive time for the LYF.
We’ve been working hard to get our ‘Open Sourcing’ Farmer Radio initiative out
there! Basically, this means that some of the poorest farming communities in the
world will be able to set up their own ‘Farmers’ Voice Radio Stations’ – using
the free resources and help that we’ll be able to provide! As a small charity,
we don’t believe in feathering our own nest. And we do believe that all our
learning and the resources that we have created through our ground-breaking
programme should get to those who need it the most. At no cost to them. So, if
you head over to our new Farmers’ Voice Radio website, you can see exactly which
countries we’re now working in and what we’ve been doing there. And if you’re
from a farming community yourself – you can also access the resources that we’ve
created with your group in mind … Something positive this year – at last!
