All organisations today operate in an environment of constant and rapid change. Managing this change effectively is often achieved through a portfolio of formal projects. Many organisations today have qualified and experienced project management staff to run their projects. Some organisations today have dedicated functions, staff or processes to support their project management teams. The qualification has a core group of 5 mandatory units that cover the generic areas including Health and Safety, transport and storage of tools, materials and equipment, checking and confirming the job specification and communication skills.
