Tumble Tots Marlow-Maidenhead-Slough

Worcestershire,

Tumble Tots is a physical play programme. We offer classes where children can develop their physical skills of balance, agility, climbing and co-ordination, whilst at the same time stimulating their imagination, and developing their language and social skills. Our sessions are structured around the different ages and stages of a child's development, from 6 months to school age. Each week we combine fun, excitement and challenge in a safe and caring environment, with our unique equipment and team of specially trained coaches. Children have an enormous amount of natural energy and with proper help and guidance it can be channelled in the right direction. We believe that if we can start children on a healthy way of life early on then it will become a habit for the rest of their lives. Exercise should be about having fun and that’s exactly what Tumble Tots provides! My name is Helen Otto and I live in High Wycombe with my husband, twin 8-year-old daughters and our 4 year old son. I took over running Tumble Tots in Marlow, Maidenhead and Bourne End in June 2017. The girls had been going to Tumble Tots in Marlow for a couple of years and loved the classes. I’d been a Tumble Tot as a child, and had also been a competitive swimmer right up until my late teenage years, so doing something in sport really appealed to me. And I love working with kids. Seeing children grow in confidence and ability week after week is so rewarding. I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by a fab team of coaches who work their socks off to make our classes fun and challenging for our tots. Our Class Leaders are Jade, Jackie, Katie and myself. And our Coaches are Sarah, Lisa and Liz.

Birmingham,

Welcome to The Tech Leader Network, world class coaching, consulting, mentoring and training for ambitious and motivated tech industry professionals creating Tech Leaders who build and inspire others. Whether your goal is personal development, career acceleration, or both, The Tech Leader Network is your catalyst for positive change. If you currently work within IT or the broader tech industry arena, then our cutting-edge programmes were developed specifically for you. Maybe you aspire to become a future leader? Or perhaps you are currently positioned as a leader, but have your sights set on further advancement? If so, then our unique results-driven development programmes has been designed with you in mind. Using tools, techniques and proven processes developed over 20 years, The Tech Leader Network will educate, motivate and inspire you to perform and succeed way beyond your own expectations. We live and breathe the IT industry! And we are passionate about successfully integrating IT people into the world of business. Whilst being able to fulfil a technical role to a high standard, those in the IT industry frequently struggle with human skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership. Most people are not born leaders. For the majority, becoming an outstanding leader requires learning and time. In addition to developing practical skills, leaders must also have great character. They need to develop an understanding of emotional intelligence and human behaviour. It’s this greater understanding that enables both established and emerging leaders to positively influence workplace culture, communication, facilitation, modelling and mentoring, to name a few. It’s these principles of development on which our unique strategy is based. One fundamental thing that we’ve learned is that people are generally capable of achieving far more than they imagine possible. We open the door to those possibilities and guide you to achieve and perform far beyond the expectations of yourself and others.

Birmingham

We have highly-qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching staff and a proven track record of progression onto higher education and employment. The St Bernadette Centre has recently undergone significant refurbishment and investment. Students have exclusive access to a group work room on their study day which doubles as a social space at break and lunch. They also have access to computer facilities in our new library which provides a modern learning space to aid them as they become more independent learners. Our curriculum offers the very best in both academic and vocational courses to match the needs of all our students. All Sixth Form students study Core RE across their two year career with us and complete the Extended Project, applying Catholic Social Teaching to a moral and ethical issue of their choice. Whilst we believe in allowing greater freedom to our students, we strive to have a true partnership between students, parents and tutors. Excellent pastoral care is provided by experienced tutors who advise, encourage and monitor student progress. The Duke of Edinburgh Award remains a strong feature of our school into the Sixth Form. The award gives students the chance to experience physical activities, volunteering, whilst developing life skills through expeditions; it is valued by universities and employees alike. During May half-term, Sixth Form students join the annual Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes to care for and assist the sick and disabled pilgrims. This is a very popular extra-curricular opportunity which really demonstrates the faith of our students in action. Throughout the week God’s love in action is seen through the selfless service of the young people and their generosity of spirit, sharing their talents and energy and time willingly with others.

Shi-han Sensei Louis Casamassa, a 10th degree black belt is Grand Master of Red Dragon Karate and founder of the American Karate Kung Fu Federation (A.K.K.F.). He originated the American Form style. During the 60’s he traveled extensively throughout the Orient studying many different styles of martial arts. In keeping with yankee ingenuity and American tradition he took the best 7 major martial arts forms and combined them into one new powerful and effective style which is known as the Red Dragon style of martial arts. Red Dragon is a true “American Original.” Founded in 1965 by former U.S. Marine Corp military police officer and 10th degree black belt, Louis D. Casamassa. During the 1950’s, he traveled throughout the land studying with a wide variety of masters in many different styles of martial arts. He spent decades gaining knowledge, and wisdom along with a wealth of business information to enhance his ever expanding martial arts skill. In keeping with Yankee ingenuity and American tradition he used the 7 best major martial art styles and combined them into one new, very powerful and effective style which is now known as the Red Dragon style of Martial Arts. Our brand and our system of martial arts was founded upon Grand Master Casamassa’s love of the Arts. We have flourished for over half a century because of his ingenuity. Shihan Sensei Casamassa is considered by many to be the “Michelangelo of Martial Arts” by taking and combining his knowledge, talent, ingenuity and wisdom, he created an entire system of self defense that is unrivaled and one that has stood the test of time and has provided generations of Americans with a great way of experiencing the Martial arts. The Red Dragon Karate program is unique because of our original approach at mixing the best martial arts styles. Today, we are widely considered the original “Mixed Martial Art,” Red Dragon Karate continues to grow because of our focus on developing the best trainers and instructors who instill character based “Life Skills” in our students. This teaching of self-discipline, self control, and self esteem when reinforced within the protocols of a Red Dragon studio, and empower our members to become responsible, productive leaders in our community.
