This 2-day course covers everything you need to know about first aid for children, from CPR to dealing with common injuries and illnesses. You'll learn how to deal with all sorts of emergencies, both big and small, so you can feel confident that you're prepared for anything. The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid Course (RQF) has been specifically designed to meet the criteria set by the Department for Education’s EYFS Framework.

Paediatric First Aid Training – This QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid Training (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide).

This regulated and nationally recognised basic life support training (BLS) and management of anaphylaxis course allows students to hone their skills and knowledge in BLS and AED use as well as anaphylaxis treatment. This first aid course is intended for individuals who have a specific responsibility at work, at home, or in volunteer and community activities to render basic life support and manage anaphylaxis in the event of an emergency. This course can be adapted to both adults and paediatrics.
