Our lessons are progressive and inclusive, building a close, trusting relationship between the parent and baby and then teacher and child. This enables a personalised and bespoke service in a safe, friendly style, within a warm relaxed environment, this ensures the progression of each and every swimmer is optimised. From birth to competitive swimming! Our teachers are in the water and very stroke focused, with very small class sizes, we are able to give every swimmer the attention and correction they need every lesson. We have a max of 4 children per teacher in every class for school aged children and 8 children when parents are in the water to ensure great progress is made by every child.

The Beauty Click was founded in April 2018 by Chantelle Bass. The idea came about as Chantelle has always been a working parent and understands how difficult it is to make time for beauty and hair treatments. She wanted to produce a website that has a platform for both the beauty and hair  specialists themselves and for the customers wanting to fit in appointments around their busy schedules. After being let down by her new child-minder for the umpteenth time, Chantelle bit the bullet gave up her sales career and put her all into launching this business. Chantelle’s life time friend Lauren came on board in June 2018, after understanding and sharing her vision she chose to also focus on building The Beauty Click brand. Lauren too is a parent and has dealt with the stresses of fitting things in around her parenting and work life. Chantelle’s career has mainly been within the sales and business development sector and Laurens within childcare, but both have also worked in the beauty industry and have a strong passion to be able to help those that want to learn new skills and move into the hair and beauty realm. After putting their full focus into the growth of The Beauty Click, working tirelessly to put into action the many ideas they’ve had and continue to envision, as well as being full time parents. It hasn’t been an easy journey so far but has been both exciting and inspiring, they are passionate and dedicated to the success of the company and are proud of the entrepreneurs they have become. My name is Jo Souter and I am an experienced specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor. I am passionate about helping children to unlock their potential! Specialist teacher and assessor Oxfordshire As a teacher and as a mum of 2, I understand that every child is different and that a 'one size fits all' approach doesn't work. As a result my teaching is personalised to each student and draws on their strengths. My philosophy is that if your child doesn't understand something, then it is up to me to teach it differently. Up until having my children, I was a full time class teacher in a primary school. Therefore I understand the demands of teaching a class of 30 children each with differing strengths and difficulties! My skill is in creating a positive learning environment in which your child can thrive. After missing school due to Covid my daughter had sessions with Jo to increase her confidence. We are aware that not all children will want to become the next Olympic Champion, but we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn to swim and be given the key swimming skills to enable them to reach their maximum potential. Diamond Swim Academy will provide swimmers with the skill set required as well as retaining the all-important element of fun. We are two families that have come together to form Diamond Swim Academy. We all met though swimming and were all National or International Swimmers. As ex swimmers we know what is required at a fundamental level to ensure that swimmers are given the correct skills and opportunity to reach their potential. We are proud to say we offer that individualised service at Diamond Swim Academy. We purposely do not run lessons back to back to enable a 10 minute break between lessons. We do this as we anticipate that children may take longer to get in/out or that a parent/guardian may want to talk to the teachers to discuss their childs/swimmers progress. The 10 minute gap ensures each lesson gets the full half hour of quality teaching. At Diamond Swim Academy we work closely with the National Governing Body of Swimming, The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and use the British Gas ASA Learn to Swim Pathway and complementary awards, as the basis of our lessons. The British Gas ASA Learn to Swim Pathway is the overarching programme for Learn to Swim. Within this pathway, Diamond Swim Academy use the ASA Foundation Framework, ASA Learn to Swim Framework and ASA Adult Framework. Diamond Swim Academy also add additional elements to each framework depending on the swimmers requirements. Swimmers will work towards achieving a set of outcomes that Diamond Swim Academy have set in conjunction with the ASA awards criteria, before progressing up through our lesson programme. Once a swimmer achieves a set of outcomes we like to recognise their achievement with the relevant award which is made up of a badge and a certificate. These can be purchased for a small additional cost. When swimmers join Diamond Swim Academy they will receive a membership pack containing information about what to expect when being part of Diamond Swim Academy. The information includes details about what the swimmer will strive to achieve, pathways they can progress along, awards they can achieve and events that we hold throughout the year.
