Archon Academy is a Toronto based tutoring centre, that helps students to excel and succeed, not only in Mathematics, but also in life. Our Start It all started with an idea. An idea to change students perspective towards Mathematics and make a difference to the society. After realizing how important it is to make this change in students, at an early age, our founder Kazi Ahmed decided to put all his experience, teaching and energy in creating a platform for students to realize their full potential in Mathematics. We focus on different students in different ways to bring out the best in them. Our Journey Our founder Kazi Ahmed graduated from York University receiving a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. He started working at different private schools as a Math teacher and on the side, provided home tutoring services. Soon, he realized the joy and fulfillment in giving back and making a difference to the young students. So now he started his journey in giving back to the society by providing online tutoring services full-time and wishes to create a platform for everyone to unlock their full potential.

We are a mixed 11-18 school in Hagley, Worcestershire and our Published Admissions Number (PAN) is 190 and with over 1130 students on our oversubscribed roll. We are situated in a semi-rural setting some twelve miles south west of Birmingham. The village of Hagley is within close proximity to the national motorway network and on a train line from Worcester to Birmingham, yet still enjoys views of the Clent Hills and beautiful surrounding countryside. He flew, trained, reared, bread, hunted and displayed Birds of prey from the tender young age of 8. Having volunteered in many falconry centres every spare minute he build up a deep understanding and desire for this ancient craft. The diversity of this business means you will sometimes catch Gino at a wedding with his Owl ring bearers dressed to impress and be seen or dressed in camouflage hidden carrying out his pest control. After much success on the field in Rugby union and joining the Armed forces as a REME Recovery mechanic, Gino sort to begin his own venture in Falconry and Pest Control. Gaining his BPCA/ RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management qualification the business began. The initial desire was to create a business around Falconry with displays in mind. This is still the roots of the business but expansion has lead to utilising Birds of prey to their full extent. Bird control with Birds of prey is an environmentally successful means of control on sites such as Hospitals, Schools, Landfills, Shopping centres, Airfields, Sports stadium and so on. When we started Nimbus Learning, we looked to solve what we saw as a gap in support for students such as ourselves. Our peers would reach out for help but would be faced with a multitude of obstacles to access student success services. We watched as they put time and effort into finding help (whether that be finding tutors, mentors or other support) on top of an already intense workload, juggling school, jobs and family responsibilities. We watched their health, wellbeing and success suffer as a result. Teaching has always been Lian’s passion. At the age of 18 Lian started teaching dance which developed into establishing her own highly successful dance school Learning Curves Dance which she ran for 20 years. Lian has had numerous highlights during her teaching career from choreographing team performances at London theatres including Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and The Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham performance venues such as the NEC and the Symphony Hall. She has also travelled with her students overseas to Europe and Asia performing at Disneyland Paris and Beijing Theatre, China. Lian has trained over 500 students for team performances, prepared over 3000 students for 32 IDTA examination sessions and received Freestyle Scholarship Awards nominations for 5 professional candidates and 18 amateur students. She has judged at numerous ADFP Freestyle Dance Competitions, including the prestigious international Disco Kid Competition at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Lian was honoured to lecture for the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association), hosting amateur and professional workshops. She has produced, directed and choreographed over 16 theatre shows, raised over £10,000 for charity, formed the successful Performing Arts Project with sister school StarStruck Performing Arts Academy, taught GCSE dance at Arden School, cultivated successful relationships and taught classes in over 16 Primary and Secondary Schools in Solihull and Warwickshire and launched a second Dance School in Southam, Warwickshire. After further professional development and with a keen interest in anatomy and physiology, Lian qualified to train candidates to professional teacher level. To date she has trained 26 individuals to professional dance teacher status, 5 of whom have received IDTA Scholarship nominations and 1 student who has gained the 2020 John Dilworth Scholarship in the Freestyle category. Now Lian has added yoga to her long list of qualifications and is a Yoga Alliance Professional 250 hour qualified Teacher. Lian enjoys teaching Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. Lian successfully teaches online and face to face classes. Yoga and dance complement each other beautifully and through her training Lian can bring elements of each discipline to enhance her teaching.
