When specifying architectural powder coating in its simplest form, just add
‘supplied by a QUALICOAT Licensed applicator’. There is no need to specify the
powder supplier, or the pretreatment system as the licensed applicator will
already be using QUALICOAT approved suppliers. A QUALICOAT specification
generally exceeds the BS EN 12206 specification for powder coating. Options are
of course specifiable, such as various finish gloss levels, various pretreatment
options, various classes of powder and ‘Seaside’ class for more exposed sites.
