Axminster Gymnastics Club was founded in 2017 by our head coach, Emma Rowe who moved to Axminster in 2014 after leaving a career within the Royal Marines. On arrival Emma found there was little local provision of the artistic gymnastics and tumbling she loved so much so decided to set up a club. Beginnings… Axminster Gymnastics began from the back of a van, running classes in small local halls. By summer 2017 the club had moved to the local leisure centre enabling storage of larger equipment and allowing expansion of the club with it now running 5 days per week. Continuing to grow On 1st January 2018 the club became a limited company registered as not for profit and our numbers and interest is continuing to grow.
