Our creative space in our purposefully designed studios in Golborne nr Warrington offers Pottery classes, Art/ Crafts Workshops and Mindfulness sessions ( Pottery and creativity for Health and well-being ) plus Alternative Ceramic Firing such as Raku and saggar firing. We also provide fully equipped studio space for supported sessions. This enables those with previous handbuilding experiece to work independently on their own projects with a technician/ teacher on hand for  technical / glazing advice / support.  Our studio can be hired for running your own ceramics / Art/  Craft Workshops. We can also arrange private individual/ group bookings.  The purposefully designed space is comfortable and welcoming and warm, with a nurturing and creative atmosphere.   With easy access from the M6, M62, M58 and M56 motorway networks. approx 20 miles from Manchester and Liverpool.  WE ARE DELIGHTED THAT PART OF OUR NEW PREMISES ARE FULLY ACCESSIBLE, OFFERING  EASY ACCESS AND DISABLED TOILET FACILITIES. From its original roots as polycarbonate and glazing bar suppliers, Twinfix now offer a full range of glazing products from the original glazing bar range to the non-fragile Multi-Link-Panel which is often incorporated into a wide variety of canopies, covered walkways and shelters. Working across many sectors, including rail, education, industrial and retail, Twinfix offers a full service from initial enquiry and advice on projects, to design, manufacture and installation. Twinfix pride themselves on product development and introducing new roofing and canopy products to the market. The Multi-Link-Panel NF is a core product. These panels are commonly used to form the glazed roof of canopies, walkways and shelters as well as overhead glazing in roof lights. Consisting of a lightweight and durable powder coated aluminium frame glazed with polycarbonate, this fix-and-link system is incredibly quick to install. It also features an innovative reinforcing technique that allows the glazed panels to pass the HSE test procedure for Non Fragile Roofing Assemblies (ACR[M]001:2019) as detailed in HSG33.

We have worked with our consortium partners over the last 6 years to carve out a role in East Lancashire, the wider county of Lancashire as well as nationally and internationally, as a cultural development agency that was previously lacking. We have increasingly developed our programming to address the needs of the communities with whom we work, to become a key strategic partner that works with organisations, artists, residents and local authorities to spotlight and enhance the cultural reputation of East Lancashire. Our two key long-term projects – the Pennine Lancashire Linear Park and the British Textile Biennial – are two of only a small number of core projects detailed in Lancashire County Council’s recently published Cultural Investment Strategy. These two core programme platforms bring together and elevate our embedded, long-term projects across our communities, providing national visibility, informing cultural strategy, and demonstrating that cultural productivity and active citizenship is flourishing across East Lancashire.

We started Progress in the Summer of 2012. The brand started in Manchester, England. We take great pride in being from Manchester and the city's culture and history influences a lot of our designs. James Tighe (a then blue belt) started the brand with his close friends and family, all of whom a decade later are still part of the company. We all shared one thing in common, an unbelievable passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We fell in love with the sport and our dream was to one day quit our jobs and work on the brand full time, being involved with the Jiu Jitsu community, to help it grow as much as we could. This dream became our goal. The brand name perfectly represented how we felt about the sport, and us as people. It's all about the Progress you make. We put less emphasis on winning at all costs, and more on improvement. We genuinely want our customers and fans to be the best they can possibly be, on and off the mats, and the essence of our brand is to try our best to make that happen, through our products, our content, our athletes, our projects and everything else we do. We will help you achieve your goals. ''Without struggle, there can be no Progress'' Fast forward to January 2021, we finally achieved our goal and launched the brand full time. We quit our jobs and committed to a warehouse lease. We have not looked back since, and have our amazing customers to thank for giving us the best job in the world.
