Step & Praise Company has been built upon Christian beliefs and the desire to use the gift of performing arts as an encouragement and inspiration to others. Our aim is to promote a standard of excellence in dance training and performance for children, youth and adults whilst maintaining a positive and uplifting environment. We desire to see children of all ages participate in the performing arts without having to be exposed to inappropriate themes or language. We hold different styles of performing art classes throughout the year, with dance being the main area of our services. Located in Stratford Atherton Leisure Centre, Step & Praise have formed termly dance classes suitable for children between the ages of 3 – 11 years old. Separated into three age abilities; Tots, Beginners and Intermediates, these classes have been designed to help our students receive an in depth understanding about Street Dance, Hip Hop Dance, Afrobeat, Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Students training with us will get the opportunity to explore dance in a safe environment in addition to having opportunities to perform in theatres across London.

Gemini was founded in 2008 by Jodie McRae, working together with her sister Lucy to provide dance classes for the community. We aim to bring each student to a professional dance level as well as enhancing their confidence and wellbeing. Each student is valued for their individuality and encouraged to reach their full potential in a creative and friendly environment. Since opening, Gemini has successfully recruited more than 200+ students with the intention of encouraging more students to take up after school activities. The name Gemini represents Jodie’s Star Sign and is symbolised by twins. Sisters Jodie and Lucy known to family and friends as “The Twins”, are the principals of Gemini School of Dance. Gemini offers professional tuition in a vast range of dance styles and disciplines, across all levels of experience for both Boys & Girls. Our dance styles include; Street Dance, Boys Hip Hop, Baby & Toddler, Pre-school, Commercial, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Singing, Cheer Dance, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Gymnastics, AcroDance and Adult classes. Additionally, Gemini is available to provide entertaining lessons at parties and provides a range of themed classes. Gemini’s Holiday Workshops are action packed intensive academies that are not to be missed!

Hayley's School of Dance opened in 2008 offering ballet and tap lessons on a Wednesday night but quickly grew. The Wickford dance school is well established now offers: Ballet, Tap, Commercial, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, Musical Theatre, Character, Jazz and Singing. The overall dance programme combined with Hayley's innovative and friendly teaching methods where each child is focused on individually helps a child reach their full potential. In addition to dance, HSD offers a friendly environment to build children's confidence and make life long friendships. Each class offers a different value to a child, be it an after school hobby or a platform for a future career. The dance school also compete's in competitions (Winning Best Dance Act 2015 in Essex) and offers many performance opportunities at locations like the Royal Albert Hall, The 02 and Her Majesty's Theatre to name but a few. 2017 will also see the children performing on Broadway at the New York Town Hall Theatre. Hayley's School of Dance are FYD national champions in contemporary, while Anais Mejias holds the best young choreographer award in Essex. The schools soloists hold many national titles competing at various competitions throughout each year.

At the tender age of 3 years old, Shanade attended weekly gymnastics classes in Nottingham. Taking a greater interest in dance, by the age of 5, Shanade began training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap & Acrobatics. As she grew older she spent more and more time growing her passion in dance - through hours after school in dance classes and rehearsals that would prepare her for the years of exams, showcases and competitions to come. At 18, after realising she wanted to pursue a career in dance, Shanade moved to London to gain enhanced training in commercial and hip hop dance styles. On completion of a year of training in London, she then moved to De Montfort University and successfully gained a 1st Class degree in Dance. Whilst completing her degree, Shanade began teaching dance finding a greater passion in passing on her own knowledge gained through her years of experience! Today as she begins her new venture in starting her own dance company, ADIA Dance Studios, she aims to inspire individuals to discover their own love for dance as she was able to.

UK China Performing Arts (UKCPA), was founded in London, England in 2017, is a dance academy which specialises in Chinese classical and folk-dance but also provides education for ISTD Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop, K-pop and Ballroom dance both online and in the studio. As an international artistic exchange platform and performing arts company, we have strong relationships with artists and companies from different countries around the world. We have provided professional performance services and collaborations with theatres, media partners and event organisers such as Lebanon Caracalla Dance Theatre with the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation, Netflix on the high-profile production of The Crown. As an artist I work with shared truth and autobiography to create theatre and improvised theatre with a sense of nostalgia that asks how perspective has changed us. I deep dive into genres like storytelling, science fiction and folk horror to create a mood and a washing line of tropes to build my original work around. I either make transient work through long form improvisation or write a script and edit through collaboration and audience reactions. There is always an element of audience involvement - small or large - that changes the piece each time. My artwork retells my personal history, my passions and my fears in a way that allows others to unlock theirs." Katy Schutte is one of the UK's original long form improvisers. She performs and teaches all over the world, is Head Teacher and Course Designer for Hoopla (the UK's largest improv school), was Co-Founder/Director at the International Improv Station and has been one of The Maydays since their founding year in 2004 with stints as Director and Artistic Director. She is half of legendary sci-fi improv duo Project2 and author of The Improviser's Way: A Longform Workbook, which is published by Nick Hern Books. Katy trained at Second City and iO Chicago and with teachers from the Annoyance, UCB, Groundlings, The Magnet and lots of other places. Katy also plays in slow burn longform show Katy and Rach, has toured with Fluxx, improvised musicals with Music Box, The Maydays and Baby Wants Candy, co-created the Destination podcast and has guested in countless shows including Messing with a Friend, Criminal, The Playground, the London and Liverpool Improvathons, Grand Theft Impro, Séance Fiction, Whirled News Tonight and The Armando Diaz Experience. Along with Chris Mead and Tony Harris, she was in the first ever improv show in Virtual Reality and continues to work on the bleeding edge of technology in The Galaxicle Implosions. She has performed in Hoopla's Saturday night shows Tightrope and Speechless, the West End show Yes Queens and toured festivals with WrongCom. Katy is thrilled to be a team member of London queer improv group Hell Yeah! and hip hop improv team Track 96.
