Hampton Court House

London

HAMPTON COURT HOUSE IS AN AWARD-WINNING SCHOOL NESTLED IN BUSHY PARK NEAR EAST MOLESEY ON THE SOUTH WEST LONDON AND SURREY BORDERS. Hampton Court House [https://www.hamptoncourthouse.co.uk/] is refreshingly different.  Purposeful informality balanced with academic rigour delivers exceptional outcomes for children’s happiness, confidence, mental health and performance. Nestled in Bushy Park near East Molesey, Hampton Court House is an independent co-educational day school for ages 2 – 18, educating Early Years children in their Pre-Prep School & Nursery (The Little Courtiers), through to students in Prep and Senior into Sixth Form. The majority of their pupils elect to stay on to complete their full education at HCH, enjoying great success in their GCSEs and A Levels: in 2023, 40% of A Level grades were awarded A*/A, resulting in a 100% Oxbridge and Russell Group application success rate. Their GCSE results were equally strong, with 70% of all GCSE grades being awarded A*/A in 2023. Hampton Court House was ranked in the top 50 independent schools nationwide (The Telegraph, 2022) and in the top 10 co-educational independent schools in London (School Owl, 2023). Hampton Court House lays the foundations of a lifelong love of learning, and believes it is vitally important that children both enjoy and look forward to going to school. In keeping with their ethos, they believe that children need guided freedom to develop their independence and confidence to use their voice. Their non-uniform parkland campus environment, in which staff and pupils alike are addressed on a first-name basis, cultivates an energy where pupils grow in confidence and find themselves. Herschel Grammar School

herschel grammar school

Slough

Herschel is a selective, co-educational secondary school serving Slough and its surrounding areas. In our latest inspection the school was deemed outstanding in all categories by Ofsted. Herschel has a warm and vibrant atmosphere built on an ethos of mutual trust, high academic standards and a commitment to nurturing and developing every individual pupil. We provide the very best opportunities to ensure every child achieves their potential. ‘Pupils thrive in the school’s academic, yet very caring and secure environment’ (Ofsted) And our pupils don’t just achieve very good examination results. Their progress between Year 7 and Year 11 places the school in the top 11% of schools nationally. The school’s success is built on genuine collaboration and partnership between governors, staff, pupils and parents; a partnership which has great aspirations for every child. Teachers have high expectations and work very hard to provide challenge and support. As Ofsted said in their verbal feedback the teachers are ‘enthusiastic, passionate and inspirational’. Pupils themselves have positive attitudes to learning and work well together. They take responsibility for their own behaviour and have strong emotional intelligence and empathy. As a result our young people leave us as responsible, active citizens ready to contribute confidently to university, the workplace and their communities. There is a wealth of information on the website that I hope will help you to increase your understanding of the school and to serve as a first point of information.

Like us on Facebook @thekidscookeryschool and Follow us on Twitter: @KidsCookerySch Insta: @thekidscookeryschool Watch our film to see what's going on at The Kids' Cookery School. Update: We are no longer operating Dear KCS Parents/Carers and Supporters It is with great sadness that we write to advise you, that we are having to give up our KCS Head Quarters here in London, Acton. There are several reasons that have influenced, this decision. The primary reason is due to the Corona virus pandemic, the charity has really struggled over the past 2 years and the various lock-downs have just compounded the problems, with The Kids Cookery School and the charity sector in general. There are several other issues that we won’t bore you with which, basically makes the premises not fit for purpose anymore. The Charity will NOT continue to operate in the previously leased premises (KCS HQ) or as a Mobile POP-UP Kitchen. Therefore, we will NOT be taking any cookery sessions for the foreseeable future
