Hello, I’m Sarah, flower farmer at Bloom & Gray. I grow flowers for weddings, local customers and workshops on my farm in Burstwick, East Yorkshire. I am passionate about growing flowers using regenerative farming techniques which benefit soil and environmental health. I provide fresh flowers for weddings which you can find more about here. I run basic flower arranging workshops and collaborate with other creatives and local businesses to offer unique experiences in my beautiful nordic tipi. Find out more about workshops here. The growing season extends from April to October for fresh flowers but we run workshops year-round in the tipi. Since 2020 I have been documenting my flower farming journey on YouTube, I enjoy sharing the highs and lows of my flower farming journey and keeping record of experiments, successes and failures.
Since 2017 Solutions have been providing SEMH interventions for young people in schools across North Lincolnshire and beyond. This early help and prevention work continues with the offer of targeted one-to-one and group sessions in schools around young people's wellbeing and mental health. In January 2020 Solutions Pledge2Learn, and Alternative Provision, was set up to provide co-educational nurture placements for 11-16 year old students who find it difficult to access mainstream education. This provision supports children's Social, Emotional and Mental wellbeing and, with the right balance of challenge and support, encourages every child to develop their potential so that they can achieve in life. Founded in November 2012 by a family of Mum and daughters, with a small team promoting a relaxed and friendly place to visit and experience. Spread across three floors, we are a gift shop selling unique artwork, greeting cards, gifts and homeware as well as a bespoke framing service.
Our Theatre in education projects are bespoke in design, meaning our clients specific aims and learning objectives are implemented at all stages when creating a learning programme. The projects are supported by tailored resources and comprehensive follow up materials for school staff - helping to further embed learning. At Dramatic we are ambitious to develop creative approaches to the health-related challenges our communities face. We're keen to develop new relationships, new work and expand our current projects reach.
