My name is Evelin and I co-founded Filthy Fit with my husband. In a nutshell, we are a health conscious brand, not only for health conscious people. We chose to work with spices like no other brands do, because spices can provide all the flavors a dish would need, so cooking and baking with our nut butters is easy and won’t require lots of other ingredients. Inner Flame is a local Swindon-based Charity running programmes for young people who find themselves at a disadvantage in Swindon and Wiltshire. The organisation was founded by David Wreathall in 2008. The passion is to give young people the tools and mindset to thrive in their future lives. Our programmes are based around experiential learning; challenging the young people and inspiring them to grab life and run with it. We are probably best known for the Prince’s Trust Team Programme, which is a 12-week full time employability and self-development programme. It’s an incredible programme and can genuinely be life-changing. We have also developed our own Mental Health Programme: Manage Anxiety Your Way. We created this in response to the increased need (even before the Pandemic) for mental health support for young people. This programme is proving to meet a need and the feedback about the impact on young people is powerful. Around these programmes we run shorter programmes to create a full progression route for young people. Success is measured by hard outcomes, such as young people progressing to the workplace, but also by soft outcomes; such as increased resilience, motivation and development of goals and aspirations. At Inner Flame we always start with the individual. Many young people who come through our doors have low self esteem and feel their lives have little value. We show them that they can achieve and help them start their journey.

About Be The Change Be The Change is an award winning youth organisation based in Bolton. Our name reflects our commitment to developing young people who are a positive force in their community, and bringing people together who represent Bolton in all its diversity. We started out delivering weekly football sessions, and our work has expanded to include a range of sports and arts programmes, knife crime prevention workshops and mentoring activity. Our aim is to cradle you with support to empower you in your parenting journey.Meet Emily I am a registered Children’s nurse and a specialist community public health nurse. I have worked in a variety of nursing settings since qualifying in 2010. I now have 3 children aged 4 years and under! Whilst sat feeling lonely and bored at a baby group in what appeared to be some old town hall I started to question things. This wasn’t me and there must be something better. I consider myself to be very friendly, approachable, and bubbly. I really enjoy socialising with my friends and now due to one thing or another my best friends are placed across the country! We meet every month or so and support each other. We share stories, including the wins and fails of motherhood. Or sometimes it’s nice to not always talk about being a mum! Being a nurse and having my professional knowledge and experience friends would sometimes reach out to me for advice. The Cradle Club was developed with all this in mind and offers as little or as much as you want from it. From just wanting a coffee somewhere nice with other mums, to bespoke professional support and guidance. While Emily is both a Registered Children’s Nurse and Health Visitor and as such, adheres to the NMC’s revalidation requirements, she will not be acting as a registered nurse during her work with The Cradle Club.

A bespoke twelve-week resilience and anger management programme, for your school. Sessions can be devised to meet your cohort requirements. Our programme supports Y5 & Y6, students who form part of your ‘hard to reach’ cohort, who without preventative intervention may struggle with transition into Y7 and may become at risk of permanent exclusion. Our programme can be tailored for Y7 students to support them further, post transition. Furthermore, we can adapt our programme to engage with vulnerable students who are low in confidence, self esteem and social skills. Week 1 is an introduction to the course to students. Weeks 2 -11 is; A one-hour period of Taekwondo, teaching students the importance of self-discipline and respect, whilst improving self-esteem, confidence and team working skills. A one-hour classroom-based session covering: mental health; mindfulness; sleep hygiene; relaxation & calming techniques; health and well-being; resilience and positive mental attitude. We can also deliver lessons exploring how to be a model citizen, and how to avoid becoming drawn into contemporary youth crime such as: anti-social behaviour; bullying; truancy; knife crime; gangs and substance misuse. We will also deliver lessons covering; parent abuse; internet safety; personal safety; child sexual exploitation (if the school deems appropriate); crime & consequences; and domestic violence.
