Clart About Ltd was born in August 2014 and founded by Lynn Hammel. I suffered
Postnatal depression after the birth of my 2nd child in 2006, I lost all of my
confidence and gave up plans to have a career in midwifery. I went on to have
another two children, and suffered again from antenatal and postnatal depression
as well as anxiety after the birth of my 4th child. After suffering from
Postnatal illness myself it has always left me very disappointed at the lack of
support offered to mothers and their families who are affected by this illness
in County Durham. I wanted to find a way to help.
