This is a practical and immersive course for people managers which provides you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to have effective conversations with staff about mental health and wellbeing.

This course teaches people how to help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

This one day course trains you as an MHFA Champion, giving you: an understanding of common mental health issues, knowledge & confidence to advocate for mental health awareness, ability to spot signs of mental ill health, and skills to support positive wellbeing. Available online or face-to-face.

Developing a network of MHFA Champions is a key step in creating a mentally healthy workplace. The MHFA Champion one-day course will give you all the skills you need to be an MHFA Champion. This in-depth training course, you will deepen your knowledge of the lifestyle and biological factors that cause strokes, how to recognise the signs of a stroke attack, stroke first aid procedures and post-stroke care provision.

Our Bowel Care training will enable learners to deliver effective and thorough support to individuals who have difficulty managing their bowel habits due to immobility or illness. Bowel Care training is aimed at support workers with no experience of bowel care and can also be attended by nurses who may like to update their knowledge.

Diabetes is serious. It can be life-threatening, however, people with diabetes can live long, healthy lives if their condition is kept well-controlled. In this training course, we explain what diabetes is and what to look out for. We cover how it is diagnosed and how to provide care and support to a person living with diabetes.

This Key Worker Skills training course will focus on the roles and responsibilities of the key worker with vulnerable young people in line with legislation and good practice guidelines. The successful care and provisions in place in a residential setting is dependent upon how effective and supported the staff team is. This Key Worker Skills training will enable those in the position of key worker and those considering the position to gain insight and understanding with regards to the importance and difference this role can play in an individual’s life.
