“Hi, I’m Jess Beesen-Smith, the founder of Beesen-Smith Education. I’m
passionate about pedagogy and sharing my knowledge and experience with primary
educators to help them develop in their day to day practice and careers. I have
a PGCE in Primary Education from Middlesex University and a Masters in
Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment from the University of London, Institute of
Education. After teaching in Islington, North London for 6 years, I spent 10
years in Leadership as an Assistant Headteacher, then Deputy Headteacher and led
on teaching and learning. During this time I gained a wealth of experience
training and mentoring other teachers, developing the quality of teaching and
learning and the curriculum and delivering high quality CPD both within my
school and the borough. I look forward to working with you and your team soon.
