Now, more than ever, Green Shoes is a radical shoemaking business. We make footwear on a small scale, by hand, in our Devon workshop, using skills learnt and passed on through decades. We endeavour to keep our environmental impact low by making our footwear long-lasting and repairable. All footwear is handmade to order in full and half sizes from UK 2- 12, in four different width fittings. We make our high boots in three leg widths. We also have a stock of standard sized shoes in our shop. We work from foot drawings that can be drawn by us in the shop, or sent to us in the post. These are used to establish which size to make, therefore the size you select online is only a guide for our shoemakers. As each pair of shoes is made to order, please allow for making time.

My name is Nina Elliot-Newman. I am a Brighton based mum and studio ceramicist. I have always had a love of art and nature ever since I was very small. In my twenties I studied Graphics and Illustration at the University of Brighton. In more recent years I have had my photography published by the National Trust and have lectured at the University of the Arts and University of Brighton. I create beautiful handmade, slab-built ceramic pieces inspired by the colours and shapes found in nature. I also deliver workshops for children and adults, inspiring others to grow a love of art and clay. I strongly believe in the power of art and nature for wellbeing and am passionate about passing on my love of both.

I studied ceramics for three years at Eastbourne College of Art. Since then I have worked as a potter and tutor for thirty seven years. I am currently dividing my time between producing my own handmade ceramics and running pottery classes for people of all abilities at my studio in Lewes UK. I am a qualified adult education tutor. I produce a range of domestic stoneware. My inspiration for this work is the coastline of Sussex. Where many summers were spent exploring the colours and textures of the coastal landscape, rock pooling, searching for shells, fossils and stones. I also produce one off pieces using the raku firing method. The results are unpredictable and the use of copper and silver wire enchance the finished piece. My work can be found in Alfriston Gallery, East Sussex, Lavernham Comtempory Art Gallery, Suffolk, Avocet Gallery, Rye. Alistair Fleming's shop in Lewes and Skylark, Lewes. Open Houses during the Brighton Festival in May and Artwave August-September in Lewes.

Indigo Art Exchange Director Tina Pringle-Hamilton has an extensive knowledge and experience with the arts as a Manager, Curator and Practitioner. Indigo Art Exchange is an Art Company based in the UK, the company’s belief is individuality. Developing and creating bespoke prints, using Indigo Dye as the signature to create new products. Our ethos is to use natural dyes and natural materials. The Company Indigo: is the colour that is represented in my work, the love for the pigment and the historical context to my heritage. Art: Primarily fibre art and relief print is my medium from block, screen and batik using indigenous patterns from the world’s pallet and creating them into my own designs and art pieces. The work also features handmade paper and felt making. Recently I have been experimenting with botanical dying and increasing my practice into Shibori. Exchange: The Company supports other visual artists through their practice and development, by offering project management and a platform to highlight their work.

Working Clasp also make alternative bridal wear and wedding accessories such as headdresses, cufflinks, collar pins, invitations and table decorations. We also offer jewellery making workshops where you can collate your own unique pieces from a wide selection of laser cut charms designed by Rebecca. All our jewellery is lovingly handmade by Rebecca in her Birmingham studio. We will be offering a bespoke service in 2019 where you can come and design your own jewellery with Rebecca in her studio. I find joy in craft and the handmade and I’m so lucky that I get to hand make my own products everyday. I live in Brighton where I grew up, I’m an avid tea drinker, a colour lover and I find happiness in being outdoors and in nature. Lume lighting is based in a small sunny studio at the bottom of Albert Mews in Brighton & Hove, UK. From here I hand make contemporary and traditional sewn lampshades using Lume’s own collection of printed fabrics and a range of luxury linens. Alongside my expertly designed lampshades, there are unique fairy lights and pendant lights to add interest and fun to your home. I am a skilled lampshade maker and have been expertly manufacturing lampshades since 2014. After adding contemporary drum lampshades to my range of homewares, I found a love for lampshades and decided to focus on lighting and rebranded my homewares business from ‘Joanna Corney’ to ‘Lume Lighting’ in 2018. Being a trained printed textile designer means that my lampshades are unique as they are made using my own exclusive screen and lino printed fabric. I am skilled in the traditional methods of soft lampshade making as well as hard backed contemporary styles, and offer a bespoke made to order and lampshade recovering service.
