Welcome to the home page of the Temple of Thelema and College of Thelema, a California Non-Profit Religious organization. Temple of Thelema is a true Outer Order of the Greater Mysteries, providing ceremonial initiation; structured training; and regular group work, all in conformity with the principles of The Book of the Law. An investment of time, effort, and commitment is expected from each member. Each is expected to aspire fervently to the Great Work; to dare, with courage undaunted, to perfect that Work; and ever to apply his or her best effort to effect Harmony within the Order, and within the world in general. Each of our locations holds at least 2 monthly private meetings for initiates of the order, supplemented with classes and other instruction online. Additionally each body holds Public Rites open to all. Founded in service to the A∴A∴, the College of Thelema seeks to guide the student to an understanding of the Law of Thelema. Most especially, this means a deeper understanding of oneself and of one's True Will. A combination of instruction techniques is employed, including seminars, written texts, and individual work. For over twenty years, the College of Thelema published the journals In the Continuum (1973-1996) and Black Pearl (1997-2003), maintaining high standards in Thelemic education. I am a Devon based textile artist creating contemporary textile art inspired by the coast and countryside. With no formal training I took up free motion machine embroidery in 2012 and over time I have gravitated towards textile art, developing my own unique style by using organza and net to give a soft watercolour feel to my work. Working loosely from photographs, but often directly from my imagination, each piece of my work evolves as it is created. I prefer not to use a sketchbook, instead allowing my creativity to guide me as each piece develops. Colour and texture are big influences for me and where possible I prefers to source up cycled textiles for their variety and individuality. I love the idea that these materials can be given a new purpose, and can be appreciated in a totally different way for many more years to come. As well as my original artwork my range also includes digital and giclee fine art prints, greeting cards and textile art kits, all of which can be found in my Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/AlisonWhateley?ref=hdr_shop_menu I also welcome commissions of all sizes, and will work with you to get the result you are looking for. I get great pleasure from passing on my knowledge and skills to others, and run regular workshops close to my home, as well as providing talks and day workshops to groups such as the WI and embroiderers Guild.

Micklems Farm is a unique venue. A 17th century grade 2 listed property surrounded by characterful farm buildings set in mature gardens and overlooking open countryside - a wonderful environment to inspire creativity. Workshops have been running here for 5 years and we are constantly adding new subjects to the curriculum. Despite its rural setting, Micklems Farm is easy to get to, situated between Maidenhead and Reading, with access to both the M4 and M40 only minutes away. We have plenty of onsite parking right by the studios. Our team of experienced, enthusiastic tutors will make you feel welcome and guide you through each stage of the workshop. Most workshops are designed for beginners and where more experience is required, the workshops are indicated for intermediate or advanced students when booking - so you will never feel out of your comfort zone! Our main aim is to encourage creativity, promote confidence and provide students with a relaxed environment in which to meet like minded people and enjoy themselves! Our teaching studio is light filled and spacious, allowing students to be seated at least 1.5m apart. In addition to running our own workshops, the studio is available for teaching artists to hire for their own workshops. We provide a selection of complimentary tea, freshly made coffee, biscuits and delicious cakes throughout the day. In the spring and summer students can sit outside to enjoy the garden and socialise with other students.

Halesworth Suffolk

Cut Editions is a silk-screen printmaking studio specialising in the production of limited edition original artist prints. Established in 2017 by Ni and Ben Gooding, the print studio is based in The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth, Suffolk. Originally a Victorian Maltings, the building is now home to a theatre, gallery, arts cinema and cafe and has a prestigious cultural programme. Situated on the ground floor, Cut Editions aims to collaborate with artists and designers who wish to make original prints. Artists do not have to have any previous knowledge or experience of the screen printing process. We are here to guide you through every stage. We will give as much or as little help and advice as required. We are able to make editions for artists or artists are welcome to book time in the studio in order to produce work for themselves under our technical supervision. Cut Editions offers screen printing courses and workshops aimed at beginners and the more experienced print-maker. Classes are small and designed to be enjoyable and affordable. Ben Gooding is an artist based in London. He has a 1st class Honours Degree in Fine Art (Printmaking) from the Cambridge School of Art and an MA in Fine Art from Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design. He has since been living and working in London. Alongside his own practice, he teaches printmaking at Camberwell College of Art and is a contributor to Saturation Point Projects.
