Paloma Forde  is a leading expert in the field of special educational needs & dyslexia with 27 years in the educational sectore!   Early Intervention and Early Detection are essential!  She founded Dyslexia Support Services in April 2016 and by January 2017, already received recognition by Dragon Den's Theo Pathitis by winning Small Business Sunday. (Only 1% of 370 000 make it!)   She then went on to get recognition about her work by Jacqueline Gold (CBE) in June the same year.  She provides screenings, specialised tuition, assessments, workshops, webinars for parents & professionals and Growth Mindset coaching for kids.   She has worked across all Key Stages of the National Curriculum and currently supports private students as well as support students with asd at her local university.

I attended primary and secondary school in Cheltenham and have two children currently at schools in Cheltenham and Gloucester. Our local knowledge makes us stand out from the crowd. Our camp is a program designed to help your child gain the skills, strategies, and confidence needed to be a successful student. We focus on high school students. Successful basketball players know how to dribble, successful musicians can read music, but what do successful students know and do? It is not about being “smart”, but about learning the skills, strategies, and mindsets needed for success in school. While some students struggle with academic content, many have never learned how to “do school”. In our program we teach your child what it takes to be successful in school, and in life after school. Topics include but are not limited to test taking strategies, growth mindset, note-taking skills, successful and efficient study techniques, time management, avoiding cell-phone addiction, and more.
