We specialise in puppy training and obedience training for dogs of all ages, including Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. We are the most respected and longest serving dog training club in Liverpool. Puppy classes run every 7 weeks and dog training throughout the year. If you love Latin music and moving around, need to get fit, want to lose some weight or shift the baby bulge :-) come and try Zumba with me :-) My love for Zumba came after I had my first child and was ready to get my health back. In other words, I needed to lose quite a few pounds :-) I attended my first Zumba class 13 years ago. I was hooked immediately. I became an instructor in 2011 and have been teaching since. Zumba helped me find a way to exercise and actually enjoy it! I have met so many fantastic people through Zumba. I love that Zumba appeals to so many different ages and abilities. My favourite part is seeing the smile on the participant's faces and seeing them leave the class with a boost of confidence! So?... Whatever your goal is with Zumba you'll achieve it! Why? Because Zumba is addictive once you start you want more ;-) and when you stick to something you'll get results. You don't even have to know how to dance. It's easy! Just feel the Latin rhythms and follow the moves and you will love it and get hooked, just like I did :-) My classes are for all ages, levels and abilities. I am offering you a routine that's fun, easy to follow and gives results. After an hour of fun, you will be sweaty :-) and feeling fantastic, leaving a class with a smile! Have you heard of Zumba Gold? Zumba Gold Class is such a joyful experience :) Who is it for? Zumba Gold participants are active older adults, beginner participants and anyone else that for whatever reason doesn’t feel up to participating in a regular Zumba class but still loves to dance. I have participants in Zumba Gold that also attend regular Zumba classes but like to supplement regular Zumba with the low-impact Zumba Gold once a week. They find in Zumba Gold they have more time to work on perfecting their footwork, and more time to enjoy the music. I am a passionate Zumba Kids Instructor too. Kids are awesome, their curiosity for new rhythms and endless energy make me proud to be a part of their physical development as well as witness their passion for music and dancing. In the spring of 1965 a few members of Belmont church were concerned that their children, born in 1961, would not have a place in Belmont primary school in September 1965 as there were too many children for the place available, and it was felt that there was a need for a playgroup. Belmont Church was approached to see if a hall could be used for the group. All financial and other arrangements were organised by the church committee and in May 1965 Belmont Pres-School Playgroup opened its doors in Belmont Church. Belmont was the first Nippa run playgroup in Northern Ireland. UTV broadcast a programme from Belmont around 1980-81 which was hosted by Frank Carson and starred the children and staff. Funds were raised through hosting coffee mornings and it was also an opportunity to meet parent and children on a social basis. We remained at Belmont Presbyterian Church until June 2002 when we were to move to pastures new at Belmont Tower. However we were accommodated by St Mark’s Church due to awaiting completion of renovations to Belmont Tower. We spent from September 2002 to April 2004 at St Marks and moved to Belmont Tower in May 2004. In June 2006 the preschool room was awarded an accreditation by NIPPA (The Early Years Association) which was a great achievement. We spend a happy two years in Belmont Tower but when our lease finished we were grateful to St Marks for accommodating us on a temporary basis. We spent over a year in St Mark’s Heyn Hall offering a variety of indoor and outdoor play in a happy and relaxed atmosphere. In November 2008 we were filmed for the Peoples Millions with the support of the community, past pupils, staff , friends, family and our current parents, we won the £50,0000, that with our past fundraising events and the support of the Education Authority we obtained enough funds for a new build which commenced building in February 2009 and was completed 3rd April 2009. We opened our doors on the 20th April 2009 and with the opportunity of new ventures for the playcare.

Active Support Service focuses on person-centered support for vulnerable adults and children, with expertise in care for physical and learning disabilities. Support and care can be provided in any community setting (home, work, day service, hospital, and temporary accommodation) .We operate across the whole of Northamptonshire. Our trained staff take a professional and compassionate approach towards individual needs, looking to make a positive contribution to those they support and care for. We also provide services to elderly customers, which can include personal care, support to appointments, cleaning, well being visits and assistance with meals. We provide a small Resource Center called Active Days - which is our very own daytime Activity Center. This runs on a Thursday and Friday each week and offers cooking classes where you can learn to be independent in your kitchen, as well as a range of fun craft activities and days out to local parks and attractions.
