For a long while, I lived a high stress lifestyle. I spent my university days
partying and eating very little. I then started my career working in a stressful
corporate environment which involved long hours, lots of travel with many
restaurant meals & late nights. I worked hard but also spent every minute of my
free time busy busy busy. I put a lot of pressure on myself, and my years of
excessive drinking, faddy diets, over exercising, over working and 4 children
took its toll on my health. Over the last 10 years, I realised that I needed to
make a change & show my children the best version of me. I wanted to get rid of
the constant exhaustion. I wanted to eat my dinner with them instead of making
different meals because I was on the Atkins diet and they were on beige food
only. I wanted to be strong and fit and healthy so I could have the energy to
have fun with them. It is a continuing journey but it is facilitated by
nourishing my body & mind instead of punishing it. After doing lots of studying
and personal development I began my journey to become a certified holistic
health and life coach and naturopathic nutritionist. I have learnt the proven
system that masters lasting habit change. With lifestyle diseases, obesity and
stress related illnesses on the increase, it is important now more than ever to
instil healthy habits so these things become what you do and who you are without
you even thinking about it.
