We are unable to respond to private individuals horizontal rule Fieldwork Rest & Play Ltd specialise in making and installing Children's Play Equipment, Safer Surfacing, Seating, Shade Structures and Fencing. Safety is a primary concern for both safe working practices and safe, fun use of the play equipment. All of our equipment is safety checked and quality is assured. Play equipment is designed to not only meet the design criteria laid out by EN 1176/77, but also that not covered by the European standard and these have been developed in conjunction with local safety officers. The following product ranges highlight the broad range of equipment that we produce. However, we are continually involved in new designs and bespoke projects and welcome new ideas and challenges.

My name is Jacek Robotka and I am an artist and blacksmith originally from Tarnobrzeg, Poland. I am proficient in many different aspects of manufacturing crafts, from metalworking through to saddlery and woodcarving to antler craft, a skill that is ever rarer in our present times. Before I moved to Great Britain, I received a comprehensive education: I first trained at a trade school as a locksmith-mechanic, then at an automotive technical college, before earning a degree in Archaeology at the University of Lodz. In trade school I attended blacksmithing lessons, where my lifelong passion for metal crafting was born. I am always deepening my knowledge by looking for more information about historical metallurgy, survival, hunting, martial arts, fencing weapons and firearms, and their tactical use. My first artistic creations were made in a simple garage workshop over a decade and a half ago. Since then, my experience has been steadily growing and I have created many items which brought joy to enthusiasts of unique hand crafting. Some of these, including a number of knives and leather goods, are for modern use, but I have also crafted an impressive number of items recreated from historical finds like swords, seaxes and jewellery. My wide range of abilities makes me a hugely valuable specialist in the area of crafting unique and high-quality items; I am experienced in blacksmithing, metallurgy, welding, leather-, wood-, antler- and bone crafting, and also possess knowledge of blacksmithing, locksmithing and casting techniques as well as medieval item crafting techniques.

South West Region - England Fencing Sabre Coaching Workshop with Balázs Kurucz

By South West Region - England Fencing

A one-day workshop on sabre coaching led by Truro Fencing Club's head coach, Balázs Kurucz. This workshop will focus on how to create a competitive training environment for sabre fencers and look at exercises for individual lessons. It is suitable for coaches who are already used to giving individual lessons (minimum British Fencing Level 2 or equivalent). Balázs leads the sabre programme at Truro Fencing Club, developing fencers from as young as 6 years old through to Junior and Senior World Cup levels. He has a wealth of World level experience in sabre in Hungary, Singapore and Mexico, and joined Truro in the Autumn of 2012. Balázs has produced many top fencers including a Senior World Cup medallist and Junior World Championship Gold Medallist and many GB champions. Spaces for this workshop are available to coaches and fencers but the primary focus for the day will be to help the coaches develop. Fencers are welcome to attend to take part in any demonstration group activities and to take lessons from coaches.
