Along with my industry recognised qualifications I have worked with dogs since 2014, as Founder and Owner of Hampstead Housesitters and Hampstead Hounds Regions I cover I can work in person with dogs, puppies and owners across London. Since I was a little girl I have always enjoyed dancing and took part in all the dance activities in school. In 2007, I was introduced to Salsa and I absolutely loved it. Not only did I enjoy the social aspect of Salsa, dressing up and wearing heels, I also enjoyed losing weight and getting into shape. However the weight loss did not last long as I had problems with my digestive system and my weight just ballooned. In January 2011 I decided I wanted to change my life and lose weight. I heard a lot about Zumba Fitness® and joined a class and signed up to Slimming World to help me with my diet. After a few months I was addicted to Zumba® and in August 2011 I decided to train as a Zumba® Instructor. Shortly after qualifying I opened Zumba® classes in Barking and Goodmayes. The Zumba® Fitness workout gives you different styles of music such as Salsa, Reggaeton, Cha Cha, Merengue, Cumbria to name a few with basic dance steps that gives you a great workout while having fun and meeting new friends. To date I am a fully qualified fitness instructor, Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor and Sports Coach. I have lost 9 stone during my weight loss journey and I am now fitting into clothes that are size 10 – 8!! I feel so happy and healthy that I now want to give something back to help others get themselves started on a path to feeling healthy again.

Cranage Hall, the home of The Crochet Sanctuary is set on 20 acres of landscaped gardens in the Cheshire countryside, this stately property in an Elizabethan manor 1.2 miles from Holmes Chapel and 6.9 miles from Knutsford. During your stay not only can you indulge in plenty of food, yarn and workshops but you'll also get to relax and unwind in comfortable bedrooms, each guest will have their own double room as standard, no sharing, and your own bathroom, so you can starfish to your hearts content, each room includes free wifi, flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. And of course if you do become all crocheted out, then we also have access to the gym and the heated indoor pool where they also provide GHD's in the changing rooms. At Cranage Hall, our crochet santuary room is held a large crochet room, so that given the current times we can social distance, we understand that many of you lead corporate lives throughout the week, so the last thing we want is for you to feel as though you're in a corporate environment for your weekend, so we make sure that all of our seats are soft and comfortable. NEVER WAS SO MUCH 'STILL' OWED BY SO MANY, TO THE 'FORGOTTEN FEW' OF THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN. On June 4th 1940, following the evacuation of British and Allied forces from the beaches of Dunkirk and the decimation of the British Army, all that stood between German invasion of Britain was a 20 mile stretch of the English Channel and the pilots of the RAF’s Hurricane, Spitfire and bomber squadrons, later to be called ‘The Few’. And so began the Battle of Britain. Among the brave airmen who fought in the skies above Britain during the Battle and after, were a few Polish fighter pilots, volunteers, our first Allies who had been ordered to evacuate across German-occupied Europe to continue the fight for the defence of France and then Britain. Sadly at the end of the war they never formally received the recognition they, we feel deserved, and were not wholly allowed to participate in the VE Day celebrations. We call them ‘The Forgotten Few’ and want to change this to ensure there is a lasting remembrance, unity, legacy and education (RULE) for all generations. You can help us with this by simply sharing this website and telling your friends, family, teachers and frankly, anyone else. We are also developing education packs that we hope to supply to schools wishing to participate, ensuring children can continue to learn about the sacrifice made for their future. You could also help through volunteering, donating, or buying something from our store so we can continue to fund the project.

ABOUT ME A Leadership Coach With A Difference I'm now an ICF accredited individual, group and team coach. But that isn't how I started out in life! I'm also a PhD research scientist and I've spent 16 years working in and leading academic and pharmaceutical drug discovery research teams. Most of that time I was thriving, but I reached a turning point where I often felt like I didn't fit, and I didn't know why. In part of my role I felt I was valued and doing well, but in another part I was constantly told to do things a different way and everything felt difficult and frustrating. So when I got the opportunity to train as a coach I jumped at it! Very quickly I realised I had a special talent for coaching. I was surprised to discover that a lot of apparently confident senior leaders struggled at work. and that I was able to help them in a way they had never experienced before. Even in those early days of coaching my clients commented on my calm, relaxing presence that made them feel they could be themself in our sessions and discuss things they never normally shared. The training also involved a lot of self development and group work, which helped me to figure out my situation. I started to understand why I wasn't happy in part of my job, yet loved the other part. A big part of this was discovering the concept of flow.
