I am honoured to be the Head Teacher at such an inspirational school, where every day I am inspired by our students, parents and staff who continue to demonstrate strength and resilience within everyday life. Penn Fields educates 195 students from Early Years to Post 16, with a range of needs that are supported through the day to day school experience as well as specialist interventions from the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) working alongside students and their parents/careers. MDT includes: School Nurse, Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, CAMH’s clinician, Counselling and Play Therapists. All professionals meet regularly to ensure a joined up approach with each student they work with. At Penn Fields all students are encouraged to strive to be the best at what they do, whilst trying as hard as they can within all elements of Penn Fields school life. Students leave Penn Fields with the skills needed to become a positive member of their community and to contribute to society. Living Earth Community is at the forefront of informing the public about this subject. Our goal is to establish a stewardship footprint that promotes environmental awareness to combat climate change. We create environmental awareness through global outreach and social media such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. GENERATIONAL AWARENESS Additionally, our climate change group customizes efforts for different generations, because where you are in life dictates how you act. Our goal isn't to just inform, but to create a series of steps that people can take to make the change. We want you to feel comfortable coming to us for information because you know we will convey the truth. If we don't have the information you need, we'll help you find it and provide links to it. LEARN AND ACT Everything we do is focused on building the Living Earth Community and creating awareness for everyone's footprint. For example, we help you understand why a $2.25 plastic bottle of water will cost over $125.00 by the time it's picked up and recycled. Online Electrical Training CoursesThe internet has completely changed our lives. From how we do our shopping, engage with our mates, and find out what film that guy was in before. It has also changed the way we train. Prior to the invention of the internet, the only way to train was to go to a local training centre and sit in a classroom for a couple of days. Now there is a new way to train. From the comfort of your own sofa, from wherever you are in the world. All of our courses still have the personal touch as our trainers will deliver the training in our virtual classroom via Zoom.This is interactive and you can ask as many questions as you want either at the end of the session or during. We are also at the end of the phone or can support you with any extra information via email. We will then book your exam at your local test centre as soon as you feel ready. So many people have found that they much prefer to train this way, as they retain more information. We have an exceptionally high pass rate to prove it! As we do not have the costs of a physical training room it means we can keep the costs down, and save you a lot of money. Why not give it a try and see which method of training you prefer.

I’m Sarah, founder and teacher at CRAFT. I opened CRAFT in February 2020, it’s been a dream for sometime to have a space to be able to teach a subject I love so much. I started sewing as a young girl, sewing together scraps of fabric from my mums fabric box, altering clothes and creating new ones. I’ve always been something I have always enjoyed. I graduated with a first class honours degree in Education in 2009. After graduating I took up a teaching post in a secondary school, specialising in textiles and food technology. After having my first child in 2012 I decided not to return to the classroom and started a business making and selling children’s wear from home. When my second daughter arrived in 2016 I decided to start teaching again. I taught in the workshop room at the back of Annie’s fabric shop most weekends. Workshops became popular and from that CRAFT was born. I wanted to create a space that could be used to teach sewing workshops but also could work with other creative areas. I hope that when people visit CRAFT they feel relaxed and enjoy spending time in the workshop space. I really love teaching here. I love sharing my knowledge, my top tips and my expertise. My aim is to give my students confidence and to share my love and passion of sewing. I want everyone to leave feeling excited to start their next sewing project .
