We know the local demographic well… Pace Tutoring is run by Pete Aldred. I am a highly experienced local teacher, having taught both at KS1 and KS2 within Gloucestershire schools. I attended primary and secondary school in Cheltenham and have two children currently at schools in Cheltenham and Gloucester. Our local knowledge makes us stand out from the crowd. Where other impersonal online agencies advertise tutors from a CV, we are much more selective about who we work with. We have personally met and vetted all our tutors, including ensuring they hold an enhanced DBS certificate and have provided their qualifications and identification. We recognise the pressures that having a great selection of high-quality schools in the area puts on parents and pupils and understand that sometimes, a classroom environment can be a little overwhelming. Many children feel anxious to offer their answers and opinions in a class situation for fear of making mistakes in front of their teacher and peers. This is where a personal tutor can make a real difference. Your child will feel comfortable within a safe and secure environment and our tutors will ensure they carefully build confidence and challenge at the right level. Children will be encouraged to ‘have a go’, to be able to see that making mistakes can be a positive developing a growth mindset where errors are embraced as learning opportunities.

To begin, you have a free 15 minute call where you get a feel for how we work, book online with a time to suit you. It is your first opportunity to tell us what is on your mind and we in turn can tell you if our services are suitable for you. If you're happy with the 15 minute consultation and decide to proceed, you can book a standard session online via our website also. Standard sessions last sixty minutes and are booked one at a time, there's no need to commit yourself to a series of multiple appointments, just whatever you feel comfortable with. You book our own slot with a date and time of your choosing. Each session is £150. Payment is made online and fully refundable should you be unable to attend (providing you give us at least an hour's notice) and fully refundable if you are not totally satisfied with the service or experience. Usually, we'll assign an hour to your first session, time spent modelling and listening. Sometimes this work can be done more quickly and sometimes it can take longer. Occasionally we reach 60 mins but it is not appropriate to stop as we maybe nearing a resolution, but do not worry if the session runs over, it is included in the price for the session.

The first lesson with Jack was awesome! Made me feel incredibly welcome, and at ease. He explained the fundamentals of the lesson, how lessons are structured going forward and taught in a clear, easy-to-understand manner. Worked at the pace I felt comfortable with, offered advice on how to improve, and made me feel confident in what I was doing. So pleased I found him as my new teacher! Excited for the next lesson and more! BEN Had a lesson with Jack! This was my first time playing the drums and was a Christmas present. I have always wanted to try and see if I could play. Well, Jack was very patient and very good at breaking down the basics, he showed different ways of learning so depending on how you as an individual learn, Jack has a teaching method to help you. By the end of the lesson, I was playing along to the music which surprised me. I really felt a sense of accomplishment at the end of the lesson and that is all down to Jack and the way he teaches! DEAN I started my drumming lessons with Jack and I have nothing but praise for his work. He's very patient, encouraging, and paces the class perfectly. His classes are motivating, interesting and a lot of fun. I'd highly recommend.

Sugar Storm has evolved with me as I’ve learnt, failed, experimented, struggled balancing working three jobs and running a business, supported my mental health, (and not supported my mental health) but at the heart of it has always been a love of the alternative, an encouragement of self-expression and a desire to be a little bit different. I created Sugar Storm as a call to arms, to encourage you to choose differently. Choose the things that feel like you, choose clothes that make you feel good the moment you put them on and every time after that, choose companies who are transparent, who support the things you support, choose yourself over and over again. Sugar Storm celebrates DIY, self-expression, unconventional living and embracing the things that make you unique. All those things that were at the heart of the business in the very beginning continue to shape the work I do. Over the course of 2022, and in large part due to the TOW development project and Metal residency for allowing the space to do so, I began to refocus and rebuild Sugar Storm Studio. This meant moving away from fashion and exploring new possibilities for my art practice, workshops, tarot and physical events. In 2023 I am focusing on creating new independent art projects and developing new ways to nurture creativity and empower unconventional individuals.

I qualified as an infant massage teacher in 2016 and extended my qualifications to deliver yoga, sign and messy craft sessions. I juggle this with being a mother to my daughter. Before taking time off to have my daughter, I worked as a teacher and Head of Department in a Secondary school for almost 9 years within; Health and Social Care and Nutrition, at GCSE and A Level. During the first year of motherhood I was diagnosed with postnatal depression, which was a little bit of a shock. I had no idea about it, had never heard of it, didn't know how I would be treated and helped along and I had hundreds of questions. Eventually once I was able to find the correct support for me, things improved and I felt safe. My whole experience as a first time mum suffering postnatal depression led me down this path. I was keen to help and support other parents and carers, creating fun sessions for all who attend, to support all individually who attend, in all aspects of health. Making individuals feel safe, supported and cared for whilst enjoying fun and engaging sessions. The thing I love about baby massage and yoga, is the way it can help new parents build or enhance that bond with their new born and it is very instant - I can literally see it happen before my eyes, and this is a very special time. I love the way all of our sessions helps both parent or carer and the child. It is so wonderful to see all who attend go one a journey. Giving individuals the skills, the confidence and self-esteem to re-create sessions at home. I hold the Touch Learn International Qualification in Infant Massage, Baby Yoga and Baby Signing and a full and valid first aid certificate as well as a yearly updated DBS

Here at City of Peterborough Futsal Centre we try to do the upmost and best we possibly can to provide a high quality, fun and enjoyable session each time you join us. We try to create a respectful and caring environment for everyone to enjoy during their time at Club. We are all ONE big futsal FAMILY here at City of Peterborough Futsal Centre. COPFC players will pride themselves on playing attractive in and out of possession futsal. Our aim is to provide futsal to as many boys and girls of all ages, abilities, race and religion and a fun and safe environment for them to express themselves on the court with professional coaching and support. We offer sessions for boys and girls from 18 months to 16 years of age. COPFC players are encouraged to play with freedom in their game to try something new without having to fear of making a mistake. We are here to develop players both on and off the court. Coaches will offer support throughout and will be in a positive manor to prepare them for everything. Coaches will ensure players are confident with their ability to make decisions based around their attacked, their defensive formation, individual high and low pressure when introducing new strategies. Players are encouraged to think for themselves for example creating passing lines, when to dribble or pass, 1v1's, finding passes into open space to break down the defence and how to lose their defender. Each team will be taught a handful of strategies and as a team will decide what they feel is the correct one to use in the situations they experience. We are beginning to create game changes, players who are confident on the ball and can change a game but also being disciplined in their play. Being able to play in team strategies if in possession or out of possession. To be able to succeed at the above players need to find the love for the game. Players sessions and fixtures will be suitable to challenge their individual abilities. All players develop at different rates and we want to ensure training and fixtures are tailored to this and not put players in the deep end. We support the development of all. Over the last 6 years, COPFC have gone from strength to strength and this is just the start. Come and join the family.
