CDM has fully equipped work areas, and is the perfect place for running Workshops. All materials and equipment are readily at hand. If any works need to be left to dry, they can remain securely here, and collected when convenient. It is a creative environment, relaxed and friendly. Most of our classes are led by artists, enthusiastic about their practise and experts in their field. Tea and coffee is included, and biscuits and cakes are often provided.

About : I'm Murron Fraser , an artist and printed textile surface designer / teacher based in Manchester in the North west of England. I take inspiration from a variety of places one being nature, translating its forms and natural beauty into original artwork, applied textiles, embroidery and surface print design. After gaining a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Textiles and Surface design, I began designing my own collections as well as working freelance on design projects and collaborating with museums on heritage projects. As well as being a designer, I am also a qualified teacher and teach art and textile courses within the community and educational settings. We are Rose & Natalie, the duo behind still studio! We’re both creatives, working in the industry and between us we have more than 15 years experience working in various creative roles and on countless design projects. We both graduated from the Printed Textiles course at Leeds Arts University and have been working alongside each other since 2019. We’ve started still studio this year to create an accessible space for creatives wanting to host workshops and small events in Leeds city centre. We know the barriers that artists can face and we wanted to break some of those down and introduce a space dedicated to the needs of creatives in Leeds and beyond!
