Cardiff Storyteller and Singer Cath Little has “rough magic” in her voice, and in her words “the gift of the story comes through.” She has a strong belief in the power of stories to connect us to one another, to the land, and to the people who once lived here. She tells traditional stories from her Irish English heritage and her Welsh homeland. Cath enjoys re-imagining and retelling stories from The Mabinogion. Cath helps run the Cardiff Storytelling Circle and curates their seasonal concerts, Tales for the Turning Year. She tells and listens to stories at Oasis, a Cardiff Charity which offers a warm Welsh welcome to refugees and asylum seekers. Cath keeps busy sharing stories in schools, libraries, museums, castles, cafes and fields. She has performed at festivals across Britain and Ireland and is the author of Glamorgan Folk Tales for Children. My father told me stories and my mother read me them. The family was, and is, full of wonderful storytellers. When I started teaching English in London Secondary Schools it came naturally to me to tell stories: I told stories to help the children into poetry, into Shakespeare, into their own creative imaginations. When I taught English in Italy and in Egypt I found that stories take away the stress of learning another language and give a real reason for listening. When I became a Steiner Waldorf Early Years Teacher I learnt more about the power of stories to nurture and to heal. And then one day I met a professional storyteller! Then I knew that’s what I had to be. Since then I’ve been on the path, following my bliss, and have worked as a professional storyteller since 2006.

Academi Westend Academy® (originally Gwynedd School of Dance & Performing Arts Centre) has been established in Bangor, North Wales for over 40 years. Principal, Natalie Robb took over the ballet school in 1997 and has since developed it into an all-round performing arts school. We offer classes in Cecchetti Ballet, ISTD Tap, Modern and Jazz, LAMDA Singing, Drama & Musical Theatre, Acro, Street Dance/Hip Hip, Flamenco, Stage School / Musical Theatre and Wedding ‘First Dance’ Classes. In September 2011 we became a LAMDA Examination Centre, being able to offer classes and examinations in Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre, under The London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). In June 2012, we became the winners of the award for ‘Best Pre School Class in North Wales’ for our Dancin’ Dotz Class (as voted for by the Netmums members). This was a fantastic honour for our school and a credit to our little Dancin’ Dotz themselves, as well as our teachers. This class has grown from strength to strength over the years and is the very popular start to our Junior Programme ‘Westend Stars’. In 2012 I decided to take things a step further and began my studies on both Dog Training and Behaviour in order to become a certified trainer and behaviourist After an intensive initial 2 years studying, I set up my own dog training services in 2013 and have continued to help owners and their dogs since as well as continuing to further my own studies and knowledge each year through various accredited colleges, courses and dog training affiliations. As it stands I now have almost a decade of experience in my field as well as numerous certificates & diplomas and continue to develop my knowledge and accreditations further year on year At any given time my husband and I tend to have a small pack of our own! These do NOT have to inflict pain or fear and none of the methods I use will ever hurt or scare a dog! My training methods are about building trust with your dog and strengthening the bond and relationship you have. I use ways which will motivate the dog and have been found to have better long term benefits for both you and him I train my own dogs the same way I will train yours. And I'd very much like to say I am proud of my dogs as a whole and the amazing bond we share

Kidz@Play Kilcock began in Scoil Chóca Naofa and through this, formed strong partnerships with primary schools in the area. The partnership with the Primary school is positive for children and families with many children moving on to primary school from Kidz@Play Playschool. We also operate an afterschool within the school where children can play relax and complete homework with the familiar Kidz@Play team. Kidz@Play History Evelyn developed the business originally from a home-based playschool. Through training and development as well as being the chairperson of the national organisation IPPA Evelyn developed and moved firstly to a rented unit in Maynooth and then to a full day purpose setting in Maynooth. The development of Kidz@Play Kilcock, over 8 years ago brought a unique partnership within the primary school and the service is now embedded within the Kilcock community. Evelyn holds a MA in Humanities in Early Childhood Care & Education, a BA ECEC, delivers training and lectures in the field of early childhood care and education. Evelyn also worked for the Department of Education and Skills inspecting the educational quality dimension to early years practice.
