Focusing on installation features and safety, placed a range of circuit protection and wiring accessories within the market that had previously been subject to cheap and under-engineered alternatives.

We are Barnardo’s Healthy Minds Wiltshire, run by Barnardo’s and funded by Wiltshire Council. Barnardo’s believes in early intervention, providing support for children and young people before they face more serious mental health issues. With the right support, young people can transform their lives . Growing up is a challenge for everyone, but for some it’s more difficult than others. We offer practical and emotional support so that young people can enter adulthood with the confidence they need to achieve their full potential. We run many services across the UK, supporting young people’s emotional health and wellbeing, from one-to-one counselling to group work and schools-based programmes. This website has lots of information, practical tips and advice about supporting children and young people’s emotional wellbeing. We are here to help young people aged 5-18 registered with a GP in Wiltshire who are experiencing a range of early mental health difficulties through group work, activities in the community and counselling sessions for those young people who need more intensive support. We are also an all year round service and so our support does not stop in school holidays. We welcome referrals from young people, parents, carers and professionals. Who are we? We are Revved Up. We provide paid work experience for young people from L8 and the surrounding areas to prevent them from being involved in serious organised crime. What do we do? Young, disadvantaged people who are at risk are given opportunities to recruit for and co-facilitate youth projects, events and community consultations. During their time with us, young people are given the opportunity to join our list of members, contribute to/learn the operations/ day-to-day running of our community business, they are all also given personal development programmes, 1:1 coaching and mentoring, social prescribing and business start-up advice. We have regular staff trips and excursions to come up with ideas and celebrate recent successes, these are all chosen by the young people. Our community business originates from another organisation called This Is My Story Limited (TIMS). Over 5 years ago TIMS was founded by Phillip Taylor (1957-2021) Adam Taylor, Sophie Middleman, Mike Hobbs and Deborah Fitzsimmons. The purpose of this organisation was to work with disadvantaged young people involved in crime, drug activity, addiction and those who had severe mental health problems. Adam and his family have spent most of their lives in Toxteth L8 Liverpool and it is one of the most disadvantaged areas in the country. The majority of the work that TIMS did was in Toxteth working with young people (all of whom were referred by word of mouth) that needed help in one of these areas. When TIMS was 2 years old, our founder (Adam Taylor) noticed that the young people he was working with through TIMS expressed a desire to follow in his footsteps and decided to try and make that happen, that is when he started Revved Up Limited.

Academi Westend Academy® (originally Gwynedd School of Dance & Performing Arts Centre) has been established in Bangor, North Wales for over 40 years. Principal, Natalie Robb took over the ballet school in 1997 and has since developed it into an all-round performing arts school. We offer classes in Cecchetti Ballet, ISTD Tap, Modern and Jazz, LAMDA Singing, Drama & Musical Theatre, Acro, Street Dance/Hip Hip, Flamenco, Stage School / Musical Theatre and Wedding ‘First Dance’ Classes. In September 2011 we became a LAMDA Examination Centre, being able to offer classes and examinations in Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre, under The London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). In June 2012, we became the winners of the award for ‘Best Pre School Class in North Wales’ for our Dancin’ Dotz Class (as voted for by the Netmums members). This was a fantastic honour for our school and a credit to our little Dancin’ Dotz themselves, as well as our teachers. This class has grown from strength to strength over the years and is the very popular start to our Junior Programme ‘Westend Stars’. “I’ve always held the belief that we are all creative beings, and that given the right conditions, everyone is able to explore their strengths and reach their full potential.” Inspired at a young age to pursue creative disciplines, Tina began her career as a design and fine arts teacher and tutor. Working in further education colleges in impoverished and crime-riddled neighborhoods in the UK, she quickly encountered the challenges inherent in supporting students that had complex needs. These were young people struggling with violence and trauma, drug and alcohol addiction, low self-esteem and, in some cases, undiagnosed neurodiversity. They struggled to learn in the same way as other students did and were often marginalized by an academic system that measures success solely through targets and standardized tests. Tina quickly realized that no matter the resources or skills of staff available, when individuals are not emotionally and psychologically stable, they simply cannot excel. Driven by a deep compassion and a struggle she could understand, having grown up with violence and unrecognized neurodiversity in her own family, Tina sought ways to create an environment where young people could thrive and flourish, access their strengths and develop confidence. “I’ve always believed that every individual has their own unique strengths and in the right environment every person can get to know what those strengths are.” Training in counselling for drug addiction and Neuro-Linguistic Programming provided a foundation for a more holistic approach. She saw the success that her students experienced when they felt supported in a safe haven; a stress-free space of true presence and non-judgment where they could explore themselves freely through their creative process and develop confidence.

Was born in Africa and lived in Lagos until her 9th birthday when her family moved back to the UK and more specifically Cornwall. Moving to Cornwall at such a key age shaped her passions and future in so many ways. Having always been in swimming pools and the sea in Africa the love of water intensified on the beautiful beaches and in the crashing Atlantic surf of the Cornish Coastline. The sea and its different moods have always been in her life. Being a keen surfer in her teens her love of playing in and with the elements became all encompassing when she discovered the thrill of kitesurfing. A pioneer in the early days of the sport she set up one of the first schools in the UK, and competed on the world circuit with her highest ranking being 3rd in the world. She also enjoyed other kiting challenges and set a world record by kitesurfing from Cornwall to Ireland ( under her maiden name Wharry), She discovered Glass by accident, through her landlady whilst studying at Falmouth art college, falling instantly in love with the look and the process of working with glass she decided to specialise in Architectural Stained Glass at Swansea. Though not actively working with glass during her sporting career, the fascination never left. Now retired from competition, glass is back as the focus of her passion. “Its colour, its reflections and translucent quality instantly captured my heart. To me it has a similar quality to water. It is enigmatic you can look at it, or through it. It is there and not there and can create a potent visual effect, either opulent or subtle. When we started Nimbus Learning, we looked to solve what we saw as a gap in support for students such as ourselves. Our peers would reach out for help but would be faced with a multitude of obstacles to access student success services. We watched as they put time and effort into finding help (whether that be finding tutors, mentors or other support) on top of an already intense workload, juggling school, jobs and family responsibilities. We watched their health, wellbeing and success suffer as a result. When we connected with administrators to try to understand the problem, we saw ambitious and dedicated offices spending a significant amount of time every day on repetitive, time consuming tasks. Tasks like emailing to match students with the right mentor, recruiting tutors, and tracking hours and time sheets. Over the years we have honed Nimbus Learning’s services to make student success services more accessible while cutting down on the administrative workload. The Nimbus Platform centralizes tutoring, mentorship and advising programs into one place, where service providers can make their availability known in a few steps and students can book what they need at the click of a button. We help tutors develop the tools they need to succeed in their first jobs, empower administrators to see every aspect of their program in seconds and guide future planning based on in-depth analytics.
