Mini dragons are the youngest members we teach at age 4 to 6. The classes are designed to teach not just martial arts, but also self-discipline and respect for others. Our aim is to deliver these sessions in a safe environment whilst ensuring the students are working hard, developing skills and having fun. The key skills that will improve are co-ordination, balance, fitness, focus and respect.
Shoreham Pottery has now been open for 3 successful years. A wonderful community has developed around us, and we feel truly integrated into this lovely town. With somewhere around 100 students coming through our doors each week to create their masterpieces, we are full to the brim and kept on our toes - Just the way we like it!!
Listen to some of our students talk about their experiences at Cardiff Martial Arts.Since joining Cardiff Martial Arts my son has increased confidence and has really come out of himself.
Tori Ratcliffe is an Edinburgh-based artist, born and bred in Hampshire. She was first introduced to watercolours at the age of 21 after asking her aunt for a lesson, but she found she was too impatient to grasp the traditional methods and instead developed her own unique style; applying the paint first in loose expressive strokes and then drawing the details afterwards in ink.
All club sessions have hygiene protocols in place. Participants need to book their place at a session in advance. The booking can be made by any contact method. A coach will then confirm the booking. Our Dojo (training room) in the heart of Bootle (3a Aintree Rd) is where we teach Adult classes (14 upwards) every Monday and Wednesday at 730pm for 90 minutes. Kids who are ages 4 upwards need to check with a coach before attending a weekday session. Sunday sessions at 12pm are for juniors, ages 4 plus. Saturday sessions are for ages 4 upwards at 12pm in Litherland Sports Park.
After having trained and competed in dance competitions all over the UK for over 22 years, Sharnie Richards launched Excel Dance in 2008 with just one street dance class on a Saturday morning in Beighton. Since then, Excel Dance has grown to teach over 250 students in a full time dance academy open 6 days a week. The fiery passion and unfaltering enthusiasm of Sharnie and the Excel Dance coaches is what has driven that growth and what makes Excel Dance the UK's leading dance academy.
