Solid employment history MOD, Home Office, Senior Management… But there was an itch needing scratching or maybe a topical cream. Invenio Training was born, why Invenio? Back to school and Latin, why Latin? No idea. But Invenio means to find; to discover; to happen upon. Adam Cresswell - The Lawyer He / Him Before The Lawyer and The Nurse met, Adam was studying law after graduating from the University of Liverpool at the College of Law of England and Wales’s Birmingham campus - then following up with the Bar Vocational Course at the same institution in London. Adam then went to work for the Crown (CPS) in Worcester before returning to civil law within a family firm in Corby, where he was employed as Head of Civil Litigation, and later became a Director and shareholder in the firm. He remained at the firm for over a decade before leaving to establish The Lawyer & the Nurse. Adam has always had a lot to say! His strengths lie in his knowledge of health and social care law and regulations, which is underpinned by his strong advocacy skills. The part of his work that he most enjoys is assisting families with applications before NHS England’s Independent Review Panels, or indeed any tribunal setting where there is an argument to be made out for what is right as opposed to what the Government wants to pay. Never try to call Adam on a Sunday morning as he religiously listens to The Archers omnibus - and despite Ambridge being a fictional village, he insists that he will retire there some day. Adam will also say that he likes to collect antiques, though his children (18 and 21) regard these the same way they do him - 'dusty and tacky'.

It is the only UK charity representing the needs of over half a million young siblings and over one and a half million adult siblings. Sibs is the only UK charity for children and adults who are growing up with or have grown up with a disabled brother or sister. We provide information, support and training on sibling issues for adult siblings, young siblings, parents and professionals. Young siblings Children and young people growing up with a disabled brother or sister often get less attention from parents and have more worries and responsibilities than their peers. Many young siblings experience daily challenges in their lives such as public prejudice and finding it hard to get schoolwork done. They also need recognition for the positive aspects of their family lives, such as learning new skills and being supportive of their brothers’ and sisters’ needs. Direct support for young siblings We run www.sibs.org.uk – an online information service for children and young people aged 7-17, who have a brother or sister who is disabled, has special educational needs or a serious long-term condition. Young siblings can: Get information about disability and conditions, and tips for enjoying life and dealing with feelings. Get help from our team with sibling issues at home and at school.

We are a family run business based in Ansty, Coventry. Established since 2016 we offer Exclusive Dog Boarding, Behaviour Change Programs and Pet First Aid Courses. We are fully licensed and insured. A bit about me.... I worked in the corporate world for 25 years as a HR Consultant, but following a breakdown and the subsequent birth of my child, I needed a career change. Growing up I was never without a dog, and was always intrigued about the relationship between owner and canine. It was only when I moved into my own house and acquired two Border Collie puppies that the problems started. They would howl whenever they were left alone, they would attack other dogs when out on a walk, they barked at every noise and they were slowly destroying my home. Enough was enough, so I called in a Dog Behaviourist, and after only 48 hours of following simple techniques, the problems diminished considerably. He helped me to see where I had gone wrong and the importance of being able to speak 'their' language. In 2016 after having re-trained as a Dog Behaviourist, I founded Hounds 'n' Harmony and went on to train further with an amazing lady called Jan Fennell. In 2017, after sadly loosing my own dog, I added exclusive dog boarding to my services and in 2018 I trained to become a Pet First Aid Instructor and hold certified courses at my training facility in Coventry.

The Old Bristolians’ Society exists to allow former pupils and staff to maintain contact with other Old Bristolians, and through the Society allow them to support the work of the School. The Society is a separate body from the School and is run almost exclusively by volunteers. The President holds office for a year: other officers and members of the Management Committee are chosen by election and normally stay in office for a longer period. We are always keen to recruit new faces on to the Committee or hear from Old Bristolians prepared to help with the running of events. In particular, we seek more involvement from young Old Bristolians, especially females, in order to reflect the co-educational status of the School. The BGS Foundation aims to bring long-term additional income to the School through charitable giving. This enables the wider BGS family to give something back so that the next generation of children can benefit from extra resources, facilities and bursaries which could not otherwise be afforded from fee income alone. Support comes from parents, former parents, staff and Governors, Old Bristolians, charitable trusts and foundations which makes a genuine difference to the life of our school. The Old Bristolians’ & Foundation Office would be delighted to hear from anyone willing to serve on the Committee or to participate in some other way. In addition, the views of Old Bristolians as to the type of event/activities the Society should be providing are also welcomed.
