Our Mission Statement ensures that Christ is at the centre of all the work within our school. Our Mission Statement is not simply a mantra that is repeated by children and staff or something that is just displayed around our school. The staff, children, parents and Governors work hard to ensure that everyone within our school community is able to achieve personal excellence so that our Mission Statement is lived out daily.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him” [Muslim]
We have been running Stockport FMAC since July 2017. The centre is run by two Master Instructors, a husband and wife team. Master David Smythe has been training in the art of Tang Soo Do for over 20 years. He first opened classes in the Stockport area in November 2013. After several years of running classes at a sports centre, he and his wife made the decision to open up a full time centre in Stockport. This allowed them to expand the number of sessions they could provide and create more opportunities for the students to train
