Hi, I'm Emma the founder of Wild Things. After working in education, Children's
Centres and becoming a mum of two active boys I was keen to develop an
environment where families can come together to play in nature. Wild Things
initially ran in parks throughout York, until I discovered the unused wooded
area in the grounds of a York High School, Millthorpe. After running sessions
for a few years it became apparent that the adults were keen to attend events as
well. During the pandemic I started creating activity packs for children and
then for adults.
