Merseyside Polonia is the most recognised Polish not for profit organisation in the Northwest of England. It was established in 2009 as a charitable organisation. The organisation is based in Liverpool but the project and events often involve communities from other boroughs on both sides of the River Mersey. In the past few years, Merseyside Polonia has built up strong links with local authorities and services, arts and community organisations as well as other institutions and founders: among them Liverpool City Council, Polish Cultural Insititute in London or BBC Children in Need. The organisation was registered on 9th of June 2009 and is governed by a Board of Trustees. Merseyside Polonia governing documents are Memorandum and Articles of Association. Main objects of the organisation are: to raise awareness of the Polish Community and culture among the local community to support community development of Polish and other communities to build community cohesion by increasing understanding between communities representing different cultural backgrounds Areas of work ARTS Polish names such as Polanski, Chopin or Lem are well known worldwide. Our aim is to give you a chance to celebrate and experience contemporary Polish arts in Liverpool together. We support a range of activities across the arts – from literature and film festivals, reading groups, poetry slams, film premiers, to music concerts and dance workshops. In the past few years we have been working with local artists, well known Polish writers and filmmakers, storytellers, poets, musicians, UK based publishers, arts institutions, and venues. CULTURE A culture is a great tool for building strong relationships. We believe that a variety of events we offer give our participants an opportunity to engage and explore culture in many creative forms. We organise Family Arts and Crafts Workshops, celebrate Polish and English traditions, such as: Christmas, St Andrews Night, Polish Midsummer Festival, and more. All this allows participants of our events to be part of the famously diverse culture of Liverpool. HISTORY If you would like to find out more about Poland, Polish people and the role they played in the history of Merseyside, you have arrived at the right place. Jesus and Mother Mary guide me since my childhood even though I’ve become aware of that much later in my life. It is, therefore quite natural that they are both very present in the therapies I offer. Even though I am very close to the Christic and Mother Mary energies, my work has nothing religious. I am not part of any religion, nor am I attached to any spiritual movement or current, which allows me to be free in my choices to serve the Divine Source, only the Divine Source. This Divine Source in who I believe, the Divine Source Mother&Father God and I recognize the Divine Source in everything, in every being, spirit, shape, life. I see the Divine Source in You, in Nature, in the Universe, in Me, in All. I like to say: “All is One, One is All, All is in One, One is in All”. During therapies sessions I offer, I listen to you with all my love, heart, and availability in respect of your free will. The Divine Source guides me to achieve the energetic harmonization you need. This can be Essenian therapy, shamanic therapy, reiki therapy. I can use crystals, healing musical instruments and channelled songs to accompany the session. Heavenly spirits, guides of light, and spirits of Nature might Join the session, especially those of the totem animals that accompany me daily. I don’t know in advance. However, they always manifest themselves with the greatest love, and they are always a gift to you and me. The session of energetic harmonization will allow you to set out the self-healing process within yourself, the process we all have within us. Sometimes, if I am allowed, I use the gift of magnetism with hands given to me by the Source to ease or even remove pain. I am the channel through which the Divine Source passes to bring you what you need, in the present moment, you are your own healer.

Based near Newmarket, just outside Cambridge, we are easy enough to find, whilst being tucked away in a safe and secure private facility. While the fun and excitement at Wildawood is endless, we know that sometimes children need a break to get some rest, even though they might never admit it! With that in mind, we have a spacious yurt with comfortable furnishings and a log burner so there’s somewhere to stay warm and dry. They can even curl up and have a nap if they want. Here’s a little bit more about them! They have 7 children ranging from 1year old to 18 years old and 3 dogs! We are very busy but have lots of family fun which is filled with laughter and love. After training as an Early Years teacher at Cambridge University, Melissa became a teacher for a couple of years and then opened Rainbow Day Nursery over ten years ago. Darren used to be involved in the building industry and changed his career in 2014 to work alongside Melissa at Rainbow Day Nursery to develop and enhance their outdoor provision as they both realised and understood the importance of this for children. They have also successfully run a Forest School programme at the nursery in their local nature reserve for almost two years. The two of them have always felt strongly about the benefits of Forest School learning. Our Team: Ond Finneran - Ond is our Nature Nursery manager. She has lots of experience with early years and forest school. Ond has her level 3 childcare qualification and has almost completed her level 3 forest school training. Her passion is the outdoors and she loves nothing more than being in the forest. Sam Hayward - Sam is our deputy at Wildawood. She has level 3 in both childcare and her level 3 forest school award. Sam loves facepainting with the mud!
