The Rose Arts London was always a childhood dream of mine and it was manifested through a pain in my life, with the loss of my Grandad; Charles Alexander Gardner. He, alongside my Mother and Nan, supported me with my dance and drama training, performance career and attended all classes, auditions and performances. When he passed away, it pushed me to embrace my artistry and passions. The Rose represents three things: A dedication to my Grandad; His favourite flower A name influence; My middle name Rosetta and my mother Rosemarie The flourish of each child who trains with us. As a seed they begin but as ‘The Rose’ they grow. Experience My training began at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and have been training in every discipline, since the age of 3 and teaching dance and drama since the age of 14. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Liturgical, Street Dance, Jazz, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Further to this, I attended college studied Performing Arts, obtaining distinctions in the art form, allowing me to receive an unconditional offer to University, where I obtained my degree in Dance Practice and Performance. I have had an extensive career in the arts, through stage, film and television and have received such amazing opportunities I am truly grateful for. About T.R.A.L. T.R.A.L. is a place for all Rose Students to discover, train, explore, create, challenge and motivate what they learn here and to ignite their passion, of why dance, drama, sport and song is such an amazing artistic outlet, which not only teaches creativity and utilises talent but also discipline. The role of the arts builds character and self-esteem and at The Rose Arts London, one of the assets that I hold as an important part, is the family friendly atmosphere.This delivers a guarantee from us, that our space is a positive and productive learning environment, where our students can grow, most importantly learn, and create in an energetic, confident building atmosphere. She is normally the first point of contact for diving enquiries. Our boat is a 6.3m Humber RIB which is both fuel efficient and fast. She is fully kitted out for divers and carries all the standard safety equipment any cold water trained diver would expect. What we have endeavoured to do is to take all the good things that we have seen in other diving centres and incorporate them into how we run Tenerife Scuba. We work on the basis that if it's not good enough for us then it's just not good enough.

Since inception in 1975, Canvey Island Swimming Club (CISC) has been competing in the world of swimming and has pupils from all local areas. Swimmers are personally trained and developed in line with Swim England Swim Plans, then fed through to the Club’s Squad Teams. Once swimmers reach Squad level, Head Coach and Teachers work closely together with members to transform them into competitive swimmers. We are a competitive club whilst encouraging younger swimmers to attend for the fitness and fun side of swimming in a Swim Club environment. All swimmers are introduced into a sporting environment where fitness along with nutrition play a vital role. CISC competes in local, regional and national swimming leagues. We swim against other clubs in and around Essex and at County level. All our swimmers develop confidence and courage to compete in races either as an individual or in team events. So, come on Canvey! From August 2011 to August 2013 – CISC temporarily moved to Runnymede whilst Waterside underwent major development work. We had no Coach and no Squads at this point. The Club provided Swim School and Swim Development lessons. Late 2013 saw the return of a Coach and Squad groups slowly built. In 2018 the full committee resigned, leaving the club in disrepair, with no Swim School Teacher and no Head Coach. Some of the parents pulled together to become the new committee, their first action was to re-employ Paul as Head Coach and Alison as Head Teacher. They revised Membership/payment/insurance costs and Teamed together to make what the club is today, a family friendly swimming club.

The three-fold vision is: to create a thriving community hub that integrates seven family-friendly businesses, each serving the public, that simultaneously deliver a range of employment skills and addictions- recovery training all under one roof. Anchor Point will offer a safe, welcoming environment to residents and university students of greater Aston where they can flourish. Hundreds will enjoy an impressive restaurant serving homemade food, drinks and baked goods, affordable arts performance and fitness training, a children’s softplay arena, a gender-neutral hair and nail salon, catered banqueting, plus multi-purpose meeting and conference facilities for hire. All these diverse activities inter-link, sharing one 40,000-square-foot building just outside the boundary of Birmingham’s Clear Air Zone. The purchase includes access to the recording until February 2025 to view as many times as you like, as well as resources used during the training.   Do you want to create a family friendly exhibition in your museum, but aren’t sure where to start?   About this training   During this session, we will be exploring the process of developing and delivering a family exhibition with practical tips and ideas.   This training webinar will be led by Sarah Shaw, former National Family Interpretation Manager for English Heritage. Her work included collaboratively designing family friendly experiences with families at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Birdoswald Roman Fort, which won the Best Family Day Out UK Heritage Award in 2020. She was also the project manager for the Marvellous and Mischievous: Literature’s Young Rebels exhibition at York Art Gallery in 2023.   The session will help delegates to:   discuss how to plan for families in exhibitions find out how to use learning and play styles for interpretation and resources learn top tips for developing family friendly exhibitions think about how you consult with families to develop your provision hear ideas for wider improvements to your family visitor experience.   Take a look at the full schedule.     Who should attend? Rethinking Museums: fostering belonging, optimism and meaning for children, young people and families

Since the end of the pandemic, children, young people and families have faced a barrage of challenges to their standard of living, wellbeing, family life and place within society. Our conference will focus on how museums can become welcoming and accessible spaces that enable all children, young people and families to socialise, relax, play, work and learn. Family Against the background of a slow post-Covid recovery and ingrained inequalities of access amongst museum audiences, we will share examples of museum programmes that have successfully welcomed children, young people and families who have historically been excluded. Often these new audiences have found a sense of safety and belonging in their local museums and become less isolated. Society In an increasingly polarised world where online disinformation proliferates, museums have a vital role in enabling people to build empathy and explore social justice issues. Work in this space helps museums remain relevant to younger audiences and helps them feel more optimistic about the future. Careers As the number of museum traineeships and apprenticeships are shrinking, so are the routes into a career in heritage. We’ll explore programmes that are opening up the museum workforce and enabling a wider group of young people to find meaningful work and build skills and confidence for future employment. Conference Format The conference programme has three strands: Case study presentations Interactive workshops A selection of activities, panel discussions and workshops programmed by the Kids in Museums Youth Panel. These sessions will be bookended by expert keynote speakers and the launch of the new Kids in Museums Manifesto. Explore the programme. Bursaries We want the conference as accessible as possible. You will take them home on the day, as they don’t require firing in the kiln. Suitable for age 7+ to come and create your festive decorations.
