Falkirk Martial Arts Academy is a Founder Member of Satori Ryu Martial Arts Association and we teach Traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu and B3 Balintawak.The club started in Hallglen Sports Centre in 2013 when I moved back to my home town after nearly 30 years away. We enjoyed a good few years at Hallglen until they closed it and then, in January 2019, we opened Falkirk Martial Arts Academy at our current location.Our Ju Jitsu classes are on 4 nights per week, Monday to Thursday and we have Junior classes for 5 to 11 years old, Youth classes for the 12 to 15 years old and Senior classes for 16 years old +. Our B3 Balintawak classes are on a Monday night from 8 till 9pm. However, due to the nature of the Art and what is taught, this is only available to Seniors. We also have seminars at the Academy with invited Instructors of higher grades or from other styles which offers our Students an opportunity to expand on their martial arts knowledge. There are also further opportunities for the Students to travel to other clubs for Seminars to gain a wider understanding of their Art or find out what else is out their to be learnt.

Jenni, Dulcie & Jamila (& our 2 assistants) aka Hey Doll! have been crafting, designing and creating art work for many years, as well as studying art, devising, running workshops/projects, & exhibiting across the UK. The Dolls have always shared ideas & created personalised gifts for family & friends. Inspired by Vintage craft techniques, fashion & fabrics we decided to run Craft sessions and parties together in and Hey Doll was born. As well as private parties we also run & devise sessions for events and organisations. Please contact us for these rates. Parties are aimed at those looking for an alternative, fun & creative Hen, Birthday or even Baby showers. We have 2 qualified & experienced assistants Tracy & Jackie All Dolls have enhanced CRB checks and Public Liability Insurance. We work across the West Midlands with writers aged 8+, and run Birmingham Literature Festival.Writing West Midlands evolved from the work of the Birmingham Book Festival, established in 1999. The organisation is now the literature development agency for the region. We achieved National Portfolio Organisation status from Arts Council England in 2012; an important step which confirmed our strategic role in building the sector’s diversity and resilience. Writing West Midlands now provides a wide range of services for writers and readers, including our Spark Young Writers programme, our Room 204 Writer Development scheme, the Birmingham Literature Festival and the West Midlands Readers’ Network.

Welcome to the website of Loretto RC Primary School. Loretto RC Primary School is situated in the centre of Musselburgh and also serves the communities of Whitecraig and Wallyford. The main building dates from 1899. We currently have 7 classes from Primary 1 to Primary 7. We also have a nursery class, which caters for 23 children Monday-Friday via the 1140 hours model.
