Hi, I’m Kylie Henshaw – a craft tutor and Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Menston, Leeds in the UK. I’ve been teaching card making and paper crafts across Yorkshire for nearly 10 years. During the pandemic I started offering classes and craft parties online over Zoom and FaceBook, sending kits through the post and sharing video tutorials, so that I could continue to provide my guests with a fantastic crafty experience from the comfort and safety of home. I continue with my virtual craft classes, but I’ve also have restarted my in-person events which are mostly from my home in Menston, but also other venues around Leeds/Bradford. I offer bespoke private craft sessions for groups, such as WIs on Zoom or in-person and can provide lovely, fun creative activities for Hen Parties, staff retreats or a crafty get-together with friends. I believe that everyone has a creative side and my aim is to provide all my guests with a relaxing couple of hours away from the stresses and strains of daily life, to focus on doing something fun and creative. You’ll always end the session with something fabulous you’ve made yourself, hopefully de-stresssed and perhaps with new friends as well as the skills and inspiration to keep creating!

Hello and welcome to Newcastle Beekeepers’ Association Honey Bees are fascinating insects and as a group we seek to understand them better and to support their wellbeing. We are a welcoming group who’s common interest is all aspects of local beekeeping. Our Association covers approximately a 20 mile radius from Newcastle into North and South Tyneside, Gateshead and the southern and eastern ends of Northumberland. We are affiliated to the National British Beekeepers Association, which provides significant benefits including: valuable public liability insurance cover, a monthly magazine and access to education and training. We have a year round meeting schedule with talks, beekeeping demonstrations and practical apiary training sessions during the summer months. Our members come of all ages and walks of life, with new members always especially welcome. Ideal opportunity for divers qualified from PADI and other organisations to come and join us. If you are interested get in touch. BSAC and Club intro for PADI divers (and divers from other organisations) happening now ! These are for divers who are looking to continue diving in Scotland and haven’t found a club to join. Note: If you are a qualified PADI diver then you don’t have to do any BSAC training to dive with us. If this is what you chose to do then all we insist on is a check out dive and up to date rescue skills. Advanced decompression procedures being run in October.

The Cookery Courses Courses are either half-day or full-day. On the full-day course, attendees will spend the morning or evening preparing the recipes and then enjoy what they have prepared at a sit down meal. The courses are taught in a small group setting, with a mixture of hands-on cooking and demonstration, in a fun and friendly setting within our home. You can book a course as individuals, where you will have a chance to make new friends or book as a group of friends, family or work colleagues, to have a fun day together! The cooking classes offer a great team building opportunity. As such, I also run Corporate and Team Building workshops. There are further courses specifically for children and young persons ( I am DBS registered) and those with particular dietary requirements. Please contact me for further information. There is something for everyone! Book to attend for special occasions, be they birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines, Mother’s and Father’s Day or other personal milestones – the list goes on.
