As a community, we strive to ensure that Blenheim students are afforded every opportunity to reach their potential both inside and outside the classroom. Inside the classroom, rigorous monitoring of the consistency and quality of teaching, quality of assessments and the impact of feedback have ensured that students flourish. Outside of the classroom, sporting, musical, artistic, dramatic, STEM and other extra curricular activities including an extended day, ensure that students continue to benefit from a rich co-curricular experience that develops them as students and as people. Blenheim sets high standards in terms of uniform with ten ‘non-negotiables’ and there are strict expectations regarding behaviour and conduct. Ofsted described Blenheim as ‘calm, orderly and purposeful’ and our students as ‘respectful, kind and courteous’, which is what we expect and see every day. As we prepare our students to take up their place in society we actively encourage them to take personal responsibility and to become independent learners. Part of this process involves the integration of iPads across the curriculum. Over 99% of Blenheim students own their iPad as part of our iPad for Learning Scheme. Technological evolution is insatiable and we believe this approach is key to ensuring that Blenheim students develop attributes that will allow them to adapt in a rapidly changing world. The iPad complements daily teaching and allows students to easily access a multitude of interactive and innovative resources both in and away from school. Parents/Carers enjoy the safety that the iPad brings due to it being firewalled by Blenheim software.

Keith G.E. Worrell, F.C.C.A P.A. LLB (Hons) Principal Keith G.E. Worrell is a UK-qualified Chartered Accountant (F.C.C.A.) and a licensed member of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (B.I.C.A.). He is a former lecturer at the London School of Accountancy and has had extensive experience locally in both the public and private sectors. Keith played an integral role in the evolution of the tax administration system in The Bahamas. Keith formerly headed the Department of Inland Revenue’s office in Grand Bahama, having joined the Value-Added Tax Implementation Project as a consultant in April 2014. He served as the Director of Tax Policy with the Department of Inland Revenue in New Providence from September 2017 until November 2021. Considered by many as the premier authority on taxation in The Bahamas in general and Value Added Tax in particular, Keith was instrumental in interpreting and applying tax laws and policy, participating in negotiations with major investors and taxpayers. In addition to his accounting qualifications, Keith holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree and completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal practice (GDLP) from the Australian National University in Canberra.

I empower women by teaching them yogic techniques that they can then share with others. I listen to and guide women and help them find their purpose in life. I lead women to connect to themselves and others on a conscious level, promoting self love and self acceptance. I support and build community through women’s circles with emphasis on ritual and ceremony to life. My offerings are both online and in-person and include yoga teacher training, yoga classes, mentoring and life coaching. I am a registered Yoga Alliance and Yoga Detour Instructor I am from Halifax, UK and live at Yoga Beach House in France where I host my retreats, trainings and workshops with business partner, best friend and husband James (who is also a yoga teacher, relationship coach and retreat chef). The Founder of the Tai Chi and Meditation Centre is Shifu Andy James (Wu Andao), who in 1984 gave up a career as a chartered accountant to teach fulltime. Shifu James was trained as a teacher of Insight Meditation (Vipassana) by the renowned Thai meditation master and author, Dhiravamsa. His first and main teacher in the Internal Martial Arts of Taijiquan, Baguazhang and Xingyiquan was Miss Rose Li ( see Lineage) Shifu James has studied medical and martial under Professor Jerry Alan Johnson and is a qualified Medical Qigong Therapist. He is also a Zen Shiatsu therapist. He is a member of the Forge Guild, an international association of trans-traditional spiritual leaders and teachers. Andy James is the author of The Conscious I: Clarity and Direction through Meditation, Ageless Wisdom Spirituality: Investing in Human Evolution and The Spiritual Legacy of the Shaolin Temple: Buddhism, Daoism and the Energetic Arts. Served as president of the Canadian Practitioners' Association of Asian Medicine and the Canadian branch of the Wudang Internal Martial Arts Association, vice-president of the Canadian Taijiquan Federation and director of the Canadian Kuo Shu (Martial Arts) Association. He was a member of the Canadian masters' demonstration team at the World Wu Shu Championships. Andy has been a passionate, interesting guest as well as a sensitive interviewer. He is now retired from the Tai Chi and Meditation Centre and offers his teachings at his retreat centre, Harmony Dawn. Although his time is limited, he does schedule media time throughout the year.
