In 1983 at a time of record high unemployment a group of local business leaders came together. Their vision? Create an organisation that would enable young people to develop the future skills they needed to obtain work and forge successful careers, while benefiting the community. This organisation became North Wales Training. It steadily grew, responding to local employment challenges. It built strong relationships with private and public sector partners. And it cultivated expert knowledge in the key skills people of the area needed to be successful in modern workplaces. Having already formed a work-based learning partnership with Coleg Llandrillo and Arfon Dwyfor Training Ltd, it was only natural for North Wales Training to partner with the emergent umbrella organisation Grŵp Llandrillo Menai (GLlM) when this was established in 2012. That the Grwp - the largest education provider in Wales - decided to acquire North Wales Training fully in 2018 is a testament to the reputation North Wales Training had earned itself. Over 38 years the company has raised the prospects of thousands of people and businesses on its own and in partnership with leading education providers, always keeping step with the times. It draws on its rich heritage and wealth of experience to offer a comprehensive range of high-quality innovative programmes, training and job opportunities. As we navigate another challenging decade, the staff at North Wales Training continue to work tirelessly in pursuit of the company’s vision, that "all our learners will succeed." THE VISION, MISSION & CORE VALUES Vision All our learners will succeed. Mission North Wales Training is committed to helping people gain skills and qualifications for employability, so that they are equipped for productive, sustainable and fulfilling employment in a modern economy. I am extremely happy with the service provided by North Wales Training to ATS over the past 3 years. We have recruited a number of young people from the Traineeship Programme. The service is fantastic and Donna has been a great help in particular. I am extremely happy to continue using North Wales Training in the future and would like to thank them for their continued support! ANTHONY BEACH - ATS EUROMASTER Her confidence has grown immensely since she started and completed her level 3 diploma. Being given the opportunity to be a supervisor and to complete her Health and Social Care Apprenticeship training has made a huge difference to her. I believe it is because she has a fantastic assessor who has empowered her to show her full potential. Top marks for all involved, always a pleasure to deal with North Wales Training. I am a mindfulness and yoga teacher with over 15 years’ experience working in facilitation, personal development, training design and delivery, coaching and wellbeing. I teach yoga, mindfulness and stress management techniques to help people thrive, especially when life is complex and demanding. My passion is helping people live happy and fulfilling lives, do what they love, and make a difference in the world. We all face challenges in a fast-paced world. I work to create moments of stillness and connection that allow you space to breathe and just be. From this place you are free to think clearly and get your life working in the way you want. Whether working with individuals, groups or corporate clients, compassion is at the heart of what I do. I believe that self-care can be a radical act that transforms our relationship to the world and our place within it, through nurture, rest and deep healing. I know that profound change can happen kindly, through thoughtful enquiry and values-based action. My work is grounded in the integrity of many years of personal practice, study and experience. This in turn supports the values-driven foundation for my work in social and educational inclusion, with a particular focus on equality and inclusion in higher education. I also have experience in facilitating learning across a wide range of settings including schools, universities and workplaces. Picture My current interests are positive psychology; mindfulness based approaches; stress and resilience; creativity; nature connection; and the power of play. I have trained as a mindfulness teacher with the Centre for Mindfulness Research at Bangor University and the Oxford Mindfulness Centre at the University of Oxford, and follow the UK Mindfulness Network Good Practice Guidelines.

Progressiveness and permutation are the basic elements of any society. Change always challenges the norms set by society. Education is the criterion on the basis of which the progress of any society can be assessed in its totality. The era through which human civilization is passing today is not only unseen but also unprecedented. We have a moral responsibility to preserve and transfer our values and culture on one hand and on the other hand innovation, research and use of technology have become indispensable for the upliftment and development of mankind. As educationists, it is our responsibility to prepare the framework of value-based, quality education while designing the curriculum for school education. Education along with being the carrier of our culture, is a combination of modern understanding and technology in equal proportion. Education does not drown our students away in the flood of information, but by assimilating it, they can develop their personality all-round and can prove to be a better resource while discharging their duties towards society and nation. Keeping these points in mind, India has changed its education policy after almost three decades. Like any other policy, the success of the New Education Policy 2020 will also depend on its implementation. That is why keeping in mind the objectives of the new education policy, we have started some new initiatives in our school which include – Pragyan, Lakshya, Ehsaas, APS, Under the Sky, and Lessons of Equality, etc. The purpose of all these programs is to provide the students ‘Education of life’ beyond bookish knowledge. Today we need a radical change in the field of education. The more the change is accompanied by multilateral cooperation, the more eternal and effective it will be. Being a responsible educational institution, we look forward to your cooperation in this endeavor. Come and be a part of the change… Stay Blessed.

Felpham Community College is a community school which means that it is run by the local authority, which employs the staff, owns the land and buildings and decides which ‘admissions criteria’ to use, (these are used to allocate places if the school has more applicants than places). Its International Schools Award provides recognition that an international ethos is embedded throughout the school and that a majority of students within the school are involved in international work. The Healthy Schools Award and Sport England Award demonstrate the school’s commitment to encouraging its students to make healthier life-style choices and to participate in sport above and beyond the school sports curriculum. As one of only 39 personal finance centres of excellence, the school has been recognised and rewarded for taking big steps forward in bringing personal finance education to all our students in the school in order develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes in relation to money to equip them for life. Commitment to supporting students with special educational needs is recognised by the Dyslexia Friendly Schools and Autism Aware awards. With these awards teaching and other support staff are able to identify and respond to unexpected difficulties that students may face. In the summer of 2017, the school was awarded Level 2 / Gold Award as a UNICEF Rights Respecting School. The Award recognises the school’s achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child into practice within the school and beyond. As one of only 22 secondary schools with the award initially, the Level 2 Rights Respecting Schools Award is the highest level of the Award and is granted by UNICEF UK to schools that have fully embedded children’s rights throughout the school in its policies, practice and ethos. Governors and staff employed at Felpham Community College are committed and work hard to create an exciting and engaging curriculum for all students. The school believes in getting the basics right; so it has focused on developing a safe, calm and purposeful learning environment with excellent student behaviour and a smart school uniform. The core values of Achievement, Care & Equality underpin the work of the school and reflected in the culture and ethos.
