We believe in warmth, generosity, respect, equality, inclusivity and making a difference. We are an independent community art studio based in a self contained annex at the Branksome Centre, BH12 2EA, Dorset. We are a CIC ~ Not for Profit Organisation also known as a Social Enterprise. Company number 09926964 Artisan team is made up of 70 highly skilled, passionate artists with a wide range of abilities and are experienced in working with a variety of exciting media. We were initially funded with a 1 year “Start up Fund” by Arts Council England in 2013 and are now 8 years old and sustainable without funding although special projects are supported from time to time by LUSH and JP Morgan. We thank them for their generosity. We have a beautiful accessible studio with a rear garden, accessible loo and disabled parking. The Founding Director and Lead Artist is Pauline Stanley, BA (Hons) Fine Art, a graduate from Arts University Bournemouth, a socially engaged visual artist and an arts and health practitioner who has worked with many schools, festivals, museums, Pavilion Dance, Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival, Artsreach, visiting lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth and also teaches on international cruises. She has a background in nursing in mental health/learning disability.

Doula UK was founded in 2001 to promote life-changing support from skilled doulas for families in the childbearing year regardless of circumstance, while advocating for better support for UK families. We have approximately 700 doulas working in all parts of the United Kingdom. Each member must complete Doula UK approved training, go through a rigorous mentoring and recognition process and comply with Doula UK code of conduct and policies. We nurture our membership, so they can unconditionally support the needs of everyone involved in pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Doula UK publishes The Doula magazine and hosts The Doula UK podcast. Glena Art Studio opens in London on the 1st of November, 2022, following seven years old history of the Glena Art Studio project for art education, workshops, and creative events across the UK, Bulgaria, and internationally via online tutoring. The leader and teacher of the studio is Galina Hristova, a practising artist and educator, with BA and MA in Set and Costume design and MFA in Fine Arts. Her professional training started at the widely acclaimed National school of Fine Arts ‘Tzanko Lavrenov’, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and ended with the MFA Course at Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL, London, UK. Trained in the academic tradition of painting and drawing, Galina now works multidisciplinary with main focus on Painting and Performance art. Together with her teaching experience, she has led different workshops, presentations, and talks. Her practice expands in curation with the realisation of different art exhibitions and live events. Galina has six solo exhibitions and a great number of collective shows. Her purpose as an educator is to guide and encourage students to discover and release their creative potential, but also to support personal development. Through the formation of self-esteem and social integrity, raise values such as equality, compassion, and acceptance.
