Situated in one of the islands most beautiful but quietest places, we are surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty and nature reserves. If you like peace and quiet, nature, wildlife walks and car-free bike rides - but like a good pub and a few shops within easy walking distance, then we are the place for you.. Oakdene Orchard is a special campsite in a large site of old fields and woodland. We are open just a few weeks a year. It's enclosed and sheltered from bad wind by its large trees and hedgerows, giving a sense of privacy and security, but still feeling open to all the space and country darkness that makes real camping so different from anything else. We offer just a handful of big, flat, individual plots. All are very well spaced out (most not even viewable from each other) and are available in either: Our amazing spacious Bell-tents, or bring your own tents if you are walkers or on bicycles Each bell-tent pitch is part screened with its own hedging and trees, and comes with a large family size bench with a fire pit and wood included. Oakdean Orchard offers a safe but adventurous place to stay for smaller groups and all those interested in peaceful enjoyment of the natural environment. Although we are located in a beautiful place we are not really a 'glamping' site. But we supply water, toilets and hot showers for all visitors free.

Our Holiday Camps are a great opportunity for your child to recieve professional coaching from FA Qualified Coaches. Most notably, it's a fantastic chance to keep your child active, enjoying football and learning during the half term periods. We offer a 3 day courses with Outdoor and Indoor Facilities. The best thing is - it's ONLY £14 PER DAY! These will run from 9am-3pm. Payments will be accepted on the day(walk-ins) It is important for us to have bookings as early as possible so we can base our sessions/activites/games and days around it. What should you bring with you? Suitable clothing for football (including appropriate footwear) Warm and waterproof clothing in case of bad weather Football boots and shin pads Moulded football boots for hard ground Sun block and a sun hat Full packed lunch and lots to drink All coaches are CRB checked and hold FA coaching qualifications. Qualified first aiders will be present at all times throughout the course. Children will have regular breaks for water, snacks and lunch. The FPFA has full public liability insurance. Anti-Bullying Policy We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our members so they can participate in football in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at the FPFA. If bullying does occur, all FPFA members or parents should know that all incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively.

Fun Pots has always been a small, family-run business. Started by Sue and Sally in 2003, their vision was to provide a space where customers could get creative in a fun and relaxing environment. Fast forward to 2017. Both Sue and Sally decided it was time to move on from running the studio, and their first port of call was to contact the Fun Pot’s community. They sent out an email to let past customers know the business was for sale and that they were open to offers. When the email dropped into our inbox we were immediately interested. As previous customers, we loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere that Fun Pots provided. After chatting with Sue and Sally we decided that taking over the business was the perfect new adventure for our family. Our aim has always been to continue doing what Fun Pots does best; providing a fun and relaxing space for customers to paint. Most of the time we leave the running of the studio to our staff team, but you might spot Mike in the studio (usually fixing something - he’s very handy!). We love the sense of community the studio offers and that you don’t need to be arty or creative to have fun here. It is lovely to see customers’ confidence grow, and to share in each piece as it develops before being revealed in its finished, fired glory. We hope that, just like us, you will discover the fun of painting pottery at Fun Pots too!

If you have a group of children that would like to come and experience a Forest School programme or Outdoor Learning session, we can offer bespoke programmes or events to suit your needs. Sessions are led by an enthusiastic teacher with experience in many fields of education, Forest School, Outdoor Learning, Special Educational Needs and Well Being. We believe that the Forest School experience, with its strong element of self-directed learning over an extended period, encourages self confidence, self esteem, problem solving and team building. Enriched Outdoor Learning translates to healthier, happier children with improved performance, in terms of both learning, behaviour and mental health.
