Chorley Gymnastics club provide a child-centered, coach-led program that is adapted to suit the needs of each gymnast on an individual basis. We cater for gymnasts from beginner level to competition level. Gymnasts are taught in small groups with others of a similar age and ability. We are affiliated to IGA, where part of our gymnastics program involves gymnasts working towards their UK/IGA awards. Our qualified coaches are extremely experienced in their field of general gymnastics and acrobatics. They are fully insured to coach and are DBS cleared. Here at Chorley Gymnastics Club the aim is to provide a safe, effective and child-friendly environment in which members can participate in gymnastics under the guidance of appropriately qualified coaches. We operate an open door policy and welcome the support of parents and guardians. Chorley Gymnastics Club are proud to work in connection with Chorley Borough Council to provide children’s gymnastics classes from Clayton Green Sports Centre.

Our aim is to ensure that the training we provide is the best on offer, tailored to the participants and always relevant to the current environment. We are passionate about delivering successful, fun and engaging courses, paired with exceptional levels of service, which enables us to build long term relationships with our customers. We understand the importance of continuous professional development and sharing of best practice. Course duration can range from just half a day for manual handling to three days for First Aid at Work. We are flexible and aim to tailor the course to meet the needs of our clients and where weekday attendance is inconvenient, we can run courses during evenings or weekends. Many of our courses can also be split over a number of weeks. We also offer one on one training on selected courses.

Under 5 play centre, classes, sensory and cafe. Little Legend’s Playhouse is an under 5s play centre and café. Our play area has lots of different activities to suit children aged 5 and under. We have soft play climbing frames, role play areas and a dedicated baby area. We also have a sensory room filled with lots of different sensory equipment to help aid play and development. Our sensory room is also the space we use to host baby and toddler classes provided by both Little Legend’s Playhouse and also outside baby and toddler classes such as Moo Music. We aim to provide a space for all of your early years needs: play, activities, classes and a place for parents, carers and children to eat, drink and relax in an early years friendly environment. Yogacita has been created to provide the perfect environment for practicing yoga. The warehouse space at the Old Gun Factory has been sympathetically converted , retaining much of it's original character; from the open brickwork to the immense furnace chimney that spans one corner of the studio. The communal areas are low level lit, warm and inviting with associated ambient smells for each area. By contrast, the changing rooms convey industrial chic with top of the range copper rainwater showers and full locker room facilities. Everything is provided from shampoo, conditioner and shower gel to hairdryers and straighteners so you can go straight to the office or brunch from a morning class, or out to dinner after an evening session. 2 hours free on street parking also means you can drive to class without worry. Somebody will be manning the desk from half an hour before class begins, just ring the bell and they'll let you in.

The Al-Ghazali Centre is a community centre that responds to the need of the diverse local community through the delivery and provision of social, educational and health programmes and activities. The centre stands as a resource for the community that develops children’s, young people’s and adults social and learning abilities within a safe environment and increases community participation and improves quality of life throughout the community. Over the past 25 years the centre has grown and expanded, starting with a small group of young people and delivering social activities in various buildings around the city to now owning its own building in the heart of the community and opening its doors to over 600 people per week. The centre has gained great experience in delivering projects to the community, sessions are always well attended and a number of programmes are oversubscribed. The Al-Ghazali centre is proud of its partnerships with statutory and voluntary organisations in the city.

We are a cookery school for disabled adults 18 plus. At StedyChefs we teach all about the joy and fun to be had whilst cooking ,not only helping improve life skills but building self confidence and making friends along the way. Our whole building is covered in fun graffiti, our chefs wear a full uniform and different coloured bandanas making their time here as fun as possible. We also teach other activities such as art and music, the Beatles actually played in our building in 1961. Our chefs cook everything from scratch and not only this, they grow their own vegetables in our outside space as well as doing outside cooking in warmer months. Our chefs do food related trips also once every six weeks. Some of our chefs volunteer and in the past have worked in local cafes and football stadiums. Our youngest student is 18 and our eldest is 63 years old. The food our chefs create on a daily basis can only be described as phenomenal. We are also part of the International Cookery School Association (School Of Excellence) We also teach our students health and safety in the kitchen. We recently had Merseyside Fire Brigade in our centre to deliver a lesson on hazards that may occur in a kitchen and how to handle them safely. Merseyside Police have also attended our centre to deliver on a lesson on how to stay safe when using the internet. In January of this year, seven of our students gained their Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene In The Kitchen qualification. It took us over a year of visually and verbally training our students in preparation for their test. As they passed, they are now able to legally work in a professional kitchen environment. One of the students is now actively looking for paid work in the catering sector using his newly acquired qualification. We have also partnered with The Trussell Trust and are now running a food bank from or building with the help of our wonderful students.
